I bought this knowing I'm in-between sizes of L and XL for this specific skirt. I opted for an XL to be on the safe side. My waist is 29"in and hips are 40"in. The XL fit my hips perfectly, but was extremely baggy for my waist. Thankfully I know how to tailor clothes—so with a little alteration, it now fits like a glove. The quality of the velvet fabric and the lace are fantastic and have a wonderful weight to them. The Jacquard pattern is gorgeous and I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This skirt is SO beautiful. The side zipper is easy, the velvet is slightly stretchy. The design is flattering, curvy. The detail is amazing. I am size 12/14, short, 5’2” and curvy (waist 33”, hips 44”) I got size XL and it fits perfectly!

The measurements are a bit off- everything else I've ordered from this store has been exactly the right size if I order an XL (XL here is basically a M in US sizes). For some reason, this skirt is too big. Better than too small though - I can alter it to size. Other than that, it's gorgeous and made of quality materials.

True to size and fits perfectly! Wished it was a little longer tho I'm 5'6 and it's above my knees but still a great skirt!
