Beautiful and dramatic but best for petite ladies

I like this dress a lot, but it is extremely short! I'm 5'7.5" tall, usually a size 2, and this dress in a size small does not quite fully cover my crotch from the front view. I'd have to wear black volley ball shorts and tights under it or something to not flash my underwear to everyone. The bust and shoulders are quite snug as well. I can maybe wear it off-the-shoulder to make it a tiny bit longer, but the shoulders don't stretch at all so I wouldn't be able to raise my arms very far when worn that way. It would be great if they made this in a tall size. The bodice is too short and the skirt is too short, and I'm only slightly tall, though I do have a long torso. I'm trying to decide if I should return it or if I can make it work for the occasions where I'd wear it. It's a bit pricey so I was hoping for a better fit. I love the look of it though.
