Okay, maybe at 61 years of age, I shouldn't be freely copping to an outsized interest in plague doctors but be that as it may, I still have to say this is one of the greatest purchases I've made since the Black Death. Of course, every purchase I've ever made has been after that horrid event but, oh well, you know what I mean.

But yes! We're here to talk about the good doctor. In all honesty, this new friend of mine is very well crafted, the materials are of definite high quality and the workmanship is exceptional.

I'm at a stage in my life where I'm actually doing more downsizing than accumulation but when I saw this gentlemen online, well, who can resist a gentlemen who is ALSO A DOCTOR? I made an exception and I have no regrets. He sits with me nightly in my "Garden Of Arcane Delights" studio among all my other 'silent' dolls.

In all seriousness (or as much as my mind can muster) if you have any interest in plague doctor imagery, this is a great addition to one's collection.

I knew I had to add this to the collection. My wife absolutely loved it. 🖤
