Ives Dress

I feel like this dress fits 99% really well. The fabric has absolutely no stretch. It fits really well in my shoulders. I full range of motion in my movements and feel no tightness in the fabric across my shoulders. Length fits well. Hips fit well. Bust fits me. I have a within average measurements. If you are a busty lady, you will need to size up. The "waist" however, I feel like the measurements are off. The waist line for this dress doesn't actually sit on my waist line, it's a few inches above. It sits around my ribs cage, which is wider than my waist. So I recommend sizing up based on the "waist measurements" as it won't actually sit around your waist. Im intrested to see if it will loosen a bit after i wash it as it is uncomfortable. I ordered an XS. It has POCKETS and the linen fabric is light and breathable, was lighter than I expected. The dress does have a lining that goes to your knees as the fabric is see through. I do feel absolutely beautiful in this.

I absolutely love this dress. The fabric is cool, lightweight and breathable, but gives that modern-victorian look. I sized up 1 size based on comments and it fits perfectly. If you're in between sizes, or have a fuller bust, definitely size up. The waist tie will cinch any extra fabric there anyway. Two things I have an issue with are how wide the neck is. I assume this is in part because I sized up, and while I appreciate the neck not being too tight, it's very wide, and lays awkwardly. The Edwardian style high neck look I was hoping for is slightly affected by this. Second issue, the lace looks like it would be a light silver, but it's actually fairly dark grey. Not a big issue, the lace is still very lovely. They likely amped up the contrast in the model photos to make it look like it stands in more contrast to the black fabric, and while it still is a contrast, it's certainly not as light as it appears. (it could also be my screen brightness) Very happy with this piece, those two concerns considered. If you're on the fence, definitely consider this lovely dress, it'll be a go-to for a long time!

It's SO hard to find high quality gothic clothes these days. I can't believe something like this even exists. The cut is gorgeous... it reminds me of something that would be on the cover of a Halloween edition of Vogue.

This dress is BREATHTAKING! It seriously looks like something a ghost would wear in a haunted mansion. The details are incredible. I had to iron it when it arrived but that's pretty expected since it's made of linen (natural fiber by the way) this dress gets exta points for that!
