Deadly Nightshade Mary Janes [ASHES-33]

I think the shoe itself is comfortable and it looks really great but the strap was a big disappointment. The metal hardware IS LITERALLY the only thing holding the shoe to your foot and that sounds cute on paper but, in reality, the hardware digs into your skin with every step. I had massive bruises the first time I tried to wear them. No matter how tight or how loose I wore them, they were downright damaging to wear.

I liked these enough to try to save them though. So I added a knitted elastic strap underneath the metal just to cushion my skin from the metal bits. It was a night and day difference. I can wear these shoes all the time now without worries.

Another small note, no matter how "tight" you make the velcro strap, it never sits super snug to your foot so they have some wiggle room to slide a little bit when you walk but, personally, I find that part doesn't bother me.

Super cute and looks better than the picture, were pretty uncomfortable at first but feel better if you wear them more.

These shoes are thicc. Two cc's there. They're so chunky (something I live and die for) and they're really comfortable! I wear them to work and I'm on my feet all day and they still don't give me any blisters. Love the straps too!
