Aliens have been a topic of human curiosity ever since people started star-gazing.
Aliens have been said to be depicted in ancient texts/drawings, Egyptian artwork and in stories from cultures across the globe.
Even several United States Presidents have expressed a strong belief in extraterrestrial life, including J.F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton.
Today we want to know what your opinion of aliens is.
Do you believe in life on other planets?
Do you think it's "intelligent" life, or something more along the lines of bacteria?
What do you think they look like?
Do you think they have visited Earth?

Leave your thoughts, gifs, video clips, photos and suggestions for future journals in the comment section below! pointdown

"They have already found bacteria on another planet..."

No they haven't. There is a meteorite from mars that was found in the antartica (AL84001) that had "signs" of past microbial life and possible fossilized bacteria but that is not direct proof. There are other explanations that can account for it.

Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia: Allan Hills 84001

"The meteorite is best known for gaining intense media attention in 1996 when a group of scientists claimed to have found evidence for microscopic fossils of Martian bacteria in it, culminating in then U.S. president Bill Clinton giving a speech about the potential discovery.[2] These claims were controversial from the beginning, and the wider scientific community ultimately rejected the hypothesis once all the unusual features in the meteorite had been explained without requiring life to be present."

Other than this one meteorite I don't know of any others that were discovered that had the same hype associated with it.

"...as well as finding 7 earth like planets 40 light years away, 4 of which are predicted to be able to support life like that of earth."

You still need the exact perfect conditions for that spark of life to spontaneously occur. If it was really that easy, then why can't we duplicate those conditions in a lab here on earth? We have all the elements...we can control of heat, moisture and atmospheric pressure etc...but life is not popping up like popcorn.

i believe in extraterrestrial life in other planets/galaxies i think theres a lot of ''proof'' out there about its a shame some people can fake information and photos about this matter thats the real problem,KGB did a lot of alien discoveries along the time, some times i think maybe theyre already her, but they just spy us inside some sort of bunker,i think they visited us in the past,i have some videos here on my favorites talking about all the alien races and the galaxy they live, some videos talk about the vimanas...this information is believed to be taken from a book called ''the Alien Races book'' all this info is from a Special forces European guy called Dante Santori who found this book the video show a lot of stuff that we see and say damm this make a lot of sense they even say why they came here how many times and so on its very interesting, from what i saw about the KGB stuff and these videos and TV news about UFOS and i just i took all these pieces together but even with this heavy info its just a matter of time all we need to do is just wait and see because if they really exist someday we will see for sure thats what i think about this.

"I just think it is not realistic to think that we are the only intelligent life forms in the vast cosmos. Just not buying it "

It's got nothing to do with being realistic. It's being scientific. Science needs proof. Unless we have proof of ET's then it's still just a big question mark. You can say the same about ghosts. Countless people have seen them...but are we blindly just to accept that they exist too without proof?

Not saying that it's impossible for aliens to exist...but from the severe lack of life in our solar system and no far-reaching radio or other obvious signal communications coming from across the cosmos...it looks like it's not as common as we like to think.

In some ways it plays into religion quite nicely. If you were religious you'd say that of course there are no aliens...god only made us. And you know, maybe they're right lol

Statistically means we only have us to observe. We need a bigger sample size. What gives the impression of "easy life" is look at all the millions and millions of life forms on this planet. But that is the easy part once life has started. Random change (evolution) is bound to happen and create countless species over millions of years. But that initial incident of when organic material first came together and somehow formed an enclosed system that was able to move on its own and become somewhat aware (looking for food) is really remarkable. Maybe a little too remarkable.

With the number of planets in the Universe, I believe there are lives in other place than Earth.

I belive in aliens but they might not be friendly they might come and destroy us all. There is proof that there was a planet between mars and Jupiter that explains all the astroids in that area. Theres proof that it could of been some natural phenomenon or aliens having a war.

This is right up my ally all sorts of realms <3 But i do have some pictures of my own as well as been slowly making videos about this. And all sorts of things i could share with you on this and realms topics. For instance look up Dr Steven Greer. He found one and being a scientist he did research him self with others on that little guy. But i also got a picture of him and another that has visited me and some elementals and more. :-) I been wanting to make a Cult here about this and more. I am a psychic medium and paranormal investigator / researcher. Nicely put your journal. Oh and they have apps from Dr Steven Greer site to find extraterrestrial activity you can see like how they have paranormal apps for spirits entities etc. If your wanting to dig deeper yourself as well. :-)

Oh another thing check into Star People. Because many of us are. As well as Realms Readings by Doreen Virtue. Many others talk about what elemental realms were from angelic as well star people and so much more. Theres so much amazing results youll find that youll be guided to research into once you start. Which you have. I say the universe your creator is guiding you to dig deeper into. And im sure you will be guided to where all youll need. Maybe opening you up to your souls path. Thank you for making these things more aware in your journal :-)

Like Zemos mentioned, there is simply too big of a solar system for humans to be the only "intelligent and sentient lifeforms in existence." Furthermore, if humans exist, why would other similar/alike lifeforms not?

Because it may be like winning the lottery. It can happen once...but maybe not a second time.

"I think it would be ignorant to think that life is exclusive to the earth."

"ignorance" means lacking knowledge, information and awareness. We are ALL ignorant of aliens since there is no direct knowledge (up close and personal proof) of them existing....yet. All we can do is assume. You can assume anything...that there are aliens out there or there are no aliens out there. Assumptions are meaningless without proof. So far the assumption of no aliens is the only correct one since nothing has been found yet. It has nothing to do with bigotry...just lack of proof. But that assumption can be proven wrong at any time should we have a close encounter with them. Yes, I'm a bit of stickler with words and logic lol.
