Hi! I'm Jonathan. And I've managed to defy the stereotype of Scottish people being drunk 24/7 long enough to write this profile.
I hope that opening statement at least proves I try to have a sense of humor. Generally I'm positive person, lighthearted, but I recognize when to put my boring, serious adult head on when I need to.
Definitely more of an introvert than an extrovert, that said I like to have an explore. Hiking and walks on a quiet evening are some of my favourite things to do. I prefer being in peaceful, scenic places in the middle of nowhere so you're definitely not gonna see me vomiting outside a club at 2am on a Friday night. Vomiting at 2am from the side of a mountain?...maybe!
I have an element of quirkiness about me. I like saying and doing the unexpected. I like weird and long conversations with no filter. Despite the fact I never grew up to be a cowboy or an astronaut, I'm happy and comfortable with who I am.
For a living, I run a bakery for a supermarket chain and yes, I can and absolutely will become a source of free cookies for you if we become friends and yes, I have to wear one of those trilby hats at work. Unfortunately it doesn't make me look like a detective in 1940's Los Angeles. In my spare time, I participate in science projects online and take an interest in astronomy. I might go back to college or uni and get my degree in astrophysics one day, but for now I'm satisfied with the contribution I make.
In my other spare time that isn't spent looking like a low budget, one man Big Bang Theory I'm usually gaming. As for the type of games I play, anything plot heavy or open world is good. So Assassin's Creed, Skyrim and Fallout are amongst the favourites.
In my other, other spare time, I usually have the TV on one of the movie channels, I have a strong preference toward horror and sci-fi. Same goes for literature, in fact almost every book I own features zombies at some point which brings me to music, I'm rarely not listening to it. Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Alter Bridge are some of my favourite musicians though most of the time I throw whatever metal playlist I happen to see on Spotify first.
I should probably remind you at this point I do go outdoors!
That's all I have to say for myself. So feel free to say hi, tell me about yourself and finally, reward yourself with ten Gryffindor points for reading all of that. You made it!
