People I Gravitate Towards
If you identify as any kind of alternative or your own 'colour outside the lines' slightly off-brand personality-type; we'll probably get on really well. Not really interested in flouncy, dramatic scene-queens - so if that's you, probably look elsewhere. I like sarcasm, cheeky banter and 'droll' British black humour. If you use the word "ironic" in the opposite (American) sense, we can't be friends. Just kidding… but seriously watch it with that!
I tend to get on with people I can hold an intelligent conversation with. You don't have to bee deeply knowledgeable, just someone who thinks about things from time to time. "HAY HOW R U?" is not a good way to start a conversation with me. I'd rather pour bleach down my neck than ever, ever reply :)
What I Do for Work
I work in digital (web) design, development, marketing, data analysis etc. I also do bits of project management and help senior staff formulate internal work-flow efficiencies for my department. If you prefer, think of all this stuff as "internet things" :')
I work full time and have a strong sense of ambition. Whilst I'm very reliable in that way, I also know when to push back and take time out just for me. I reach, but not to the extent that I cause myself mental issues like anxiety or stress. Stress is something I'm really good at handling, so if you are stressing with anything (anything at all) - shoot me a message and I'll do what I can to help you find a workable solution. I care about all my friends and most people I meet. Even most of the jerks have their reasons...
I like travelling, mostly Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. I could list all the places I have been and make out that it's some huge element of my life like every other numpty on a social networking / dating site ("Hi everyone I'm James, I like breathing, eating and travelling - look how unique I am!") but you know what? SOMETIMES I like being at home. Get over it. I have wanderlust but it doesn't define me as a human being
Hobbies and Activities
Other stuff I do: Digital artwork (ask to see some), fire spinning (though not much anymore), driving (shut up I love my SEAT Ibiza), having a job and contributing to society, poetry (not gonna post it here though!), listening to everyone's life problems, dancing, videogames, going to the gym - but like a normal person: not like some kind of overly neurotic wet blanket who cries if they can't exercise one out of seven days
Being some kind of obsessive health fanatic, watching what I eat like some kind of delicate flower, visiting places just to take selfies and say I've been there… Basically - being a stereotype Millennial. I am one, but it doesn't have to be my everything you know?
If you had a giggle or smile reading my profile, send me a message why not? Even just so I can find some more mates I'm pretty chill with that.
