Where to begin, In the past I was an amateur gig photographer, among many other things, made the leap to Movies, writing, producing, directing, all the fun behind the scenes stuff, hoping to one day relocate to Los Angeles on a more permanent basis for all the aforementioned reasons, shot my first self-penned short film, with TV shows and feature-length movies (hopefully) in the near future
I'm not really one of those LOOK AT ME kind of people, I'm the complete opposite of a camera whore, well, sort of, I love my camera dearly, but i spend all my time behind it. I'm not a fan of *posed* photos, they serve their purpose, and i can appreciate them from an artistic standpoint, but to me they just miss the point of photographs altogether, to capture moments in time, which is why live-action/music photography's always been my forte. There're few things more fun/thrilling than the pursuit of "the perfect picture" at a gig.
And when I'm not at gigs, odds are I'm off somewhere around the world. I'm one of those restless souls who's always off looking for the next adventure, the next risk to take, the next place to explore, I've, at some point or another been on every habitable continent (Antarctica's a little too cold for my tastes) and been to basically every country I've ever wanted to visit, though I'm always looking for new and unexpected journeys
I've only got 5 tattoos at the moment (though they're not exactly small, as you can see in my pictures) One on my right bicep, a half-sleeve on my left bicep, a Chest piece, one on the back of my neck, and my newest piece is the first of two full forearm sleeves I'm in the process of getting.
Unlikely as it may seem, one of my big passions in life is cooking, I'm always trying to find new recipes to challenge myself, and inventing new, off the wall creations, and if I do say so myself, I fancy myself a pretty damn good cook
I have a bit of a *lone wolf* mentality, in that i don't NEED to be around people to exist, i can function perfectly well by myself for extended periods, but the friends i DO have, i am VERY protective over and loyal to, you mess with or hurt them, you'll feel the full wrath of Hell come down on you. And yet, despite that, i'm a very laid-back and relaxed guy most of the time, and i'm told i'm a great listener, so if you want to talk to me, feel free
Photography and Movies, my two great loves, and responsible for getting me where i am today. I.E. On the verge of being commited, but with the resources, and an excuse, to go where i want, when i want.
Zombie Strippers (Though i'm biased since most of the cast are friends of mine)
Anime, particularly Vampire Princess Miyu, bleak, brutal, and utterly breath-taking.
Horror movies, from the epic, to the infinitely moronic, there's just something about them that always puts a smile on my face. And two of my friends have been Zombies in Hollywood movies, so there's a fun fact for you all.
Travel, I've been to Toronto Canada, Sao Paolo Brazil, Santiago Chile, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Holland, Fuerteventura African Coast, Taipei Taiwan, Bangkok and Pattaya Thailand, Hong Kong, Sydney Australia, New York and endless trips to my second home, Los Angeles among others, and recently back from a month in Japan.
Oh, and the books of HP Lovecraft, Poppy Z Brite, James Bibby, JRR Tolkien, Terry Pratchett and Anne Rice amongst many others
Long story short, there aren't really many genres I DON'T listen to, like most things in life, there's greatness to be found anywhere if you take the time to look
