[ My Poem 'The Girl' ] Alright, so, I usually don't put a lot into these things, but maybe it's time I took a little extra effort and let the world attempt to see into the inner workings of my twisted mind
To start off I will say the usual, my name is Brooke, you can call me Brooke, Kara, Illiana, Illi, Ember, or Bess. I will also anwser to bitch, teddy bear, or pixie dust
I am a very opinionated person, who will ramble for hours about her veiws on politics, abortion, steryotypes, love, hate, sex, relationships, god(I believe in god, not religion-there is a differance) and anything else you can possably think of to debate. I warn you, I have had years of practice against my sister. Trust me, I know how to argue.
I am in love. I lost him, and now that I have him back I don't wanna let go. I have been with the love of my life for 11 monthes now; while some feel-I'm sure-you can not love in that amount of time, I do. He is the stars in my sky, he is the reason I wake up in the morning. His name is Chris Lewis, and I want to spend forever with him. You can say I'm too young, you can say it will never last, but I'll say that love is the only thing worth living for, and that he's worth dying for.
Another thing you should know: no on knows me 100% and if you think you do, be ready to learn, I change every day, every second. I'm learning and growning and changeing. I don't even knolw me 100%. I learn new things about myself every day. But while people like me for my good qualities, they love me for my imperfections.
I have read about 367 books in the last 3 years, not including ones I never finished. And no this is not an exageration.(in my obbsesive compulsive need to be organized, I made a tally) I've read all of several series including: Harry Potter, Twilight, Series of Unfortunate Events and more.I also pick up a lot of quotes form said books; one of my personal favorites is from a book called "Where the Heart Is", you may have seen the movie, but the book is better. That qoute is very true and I try and live by it. That qoute is
'Our lives can change with every breath we take...hold on like hell to what you got...We all got meanness in us, but we've all got some good to. And the only thing worth living for is the good. That's why we gotta make sure we pass it on"
Another great one from that book is this."Lord I don't know, why does anyone lie? 'Cause we're scared or crazy, maybe just 'cause we're mean. I guess there's a million reasons to lie. But I guess there's jsut that one lie we never get over. Maybe you don't know about it yet. Maybe you never told a lie so big it can eat away a part of you...But if you ever do, and you get lucky, you might get the chance to set it right. Just one chance to change it. Then it's gone, and it never comes again."
I'm not gonna pretend I am a perfect person, or that I don't do anything wrong, but I try and do the right thing, even when it's not easy. I think that's enought.
My family and friends are my life. And my VF family (You know who you are) is the best one anyone could ask for. They are te legs I stand on, the heart that beats inmy (patheticly tiny) cheast, and I couldn't live without them. To all my VF friends and family "I love you."

I am a lover, a fighter, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am a fierce lover and a unstopable fighter. I am a passionate writer and a caring sister. I am what I am, but who I am changes. I am not really any one steryotype, I switch between them like some people change socks. Today I can be the darkest goth on earth, tomorrow, I'll be in overalls and a redneck woman t-shirt. You can say this makes me a poser, but if your smart you'll see that it simply makes me, me. And I am have to say, I am one lucky bitrch to have the friends I do.
