"Dark on the outside, adorable on the inside." Finally found the time to do a revamp of my profile. To all the newcomers and old friends alike, page through the walls of text. You'll probably learn a few new things. Hello everyone, my name's Sean. Friends call me Raichu, for a few obvious reasons from a couple of my pictures. I'm generally really friendly to anyone who makes the attempt to talk to me first. I really don't like to message or text anyone first, but that doesn't mean I don't want to talk or I'm not thinking about you. I have a really dark sense of humor. If you're easily offended, then maybe we wouldn't get along so well. I tease my friends a little, but I understand there's a line. Otherwise, I'll make jokes about just about anything. Yeah, some is in bad taste, but I'll laugh at anything. Sometimes lands me in hot water, but all my close friends know me and love me for who I am. :P I'm studying psychology, and going to PennState hopefully and going for my PhD in psychology. I'll hopefully work at a hospital and eventually a private practice. I've taken two semesters of it here in high school, and in that time I've done tons of studying and research outside of school. I really know an extreme amount about it. I'm a musician mainly, and play bass guitar and electric/acoustic guitar. I'll sing too, although I'm admittedly shy about that at times. I'm not actively in a band but I've recorded a song or two so far just on my own. I love covering songs by bands I enjoy, and nothing makes me smile more than talking to someone about music. I love being asked questions. I'm a total open book about my life, because I'll never be ashamed of myself. If someone has the guts to ask a personal question, be prepared for the answer, is what I say. Anyway, I've been playing bass for over four years now. Own three bass guitars [Austin, Fender, and Ibanez] and two guitars [J. Reynolds and Ibanez]. The total cost of all my equipment totals over $3,000, so I'm very much into music. Constantly writing music pieces and brushing up on music theory. I love teaching it to anyone who is interested in it. I don't have a drum kit or play them, but I am able to play them as well somewhat. Nothing fancy, but I can manage. I'll sing clean [I have a surprisingly high voice - think Red Hot Chili Peppers] and can do some screams for your metal-type bands. More on my favorites later though. I love progressive music, either rock or metal. Punk, hair metal, some rap and hip hop, new metal, classic rock, metalcore, pop, country, 80's glam... I like a wide variety. I believe music is a part of who we are on the inside, and can speak volumes about people. I don't make fun of anyone for their taste, because I understand it's a very important thing to many people. I expect others to do the same. To get personal, I don't really pay attention to religion. I don't think religion is necessarily a bad thing, but I am agnostic-atheist. Meaning, I do not pledge myself one way or another, but atheism logically makes more sense to me. This is purely my opinion. I do not like how religion can tear two people apart purely on faith. I do believe religion is a wonderful source of guidance for those who seek it, and it is a wonderful part of a person's community in the sense that it can bring people together and feel like they are a part of something larger than themselves. I'm TAKEN as of December 4th, 2011 by the love of my life ^^ Everyday is something new, and I'm constantly grateful for every second I spend with her. On gay marriage/politics, I believe in gay rights. I don't worry about it so much as it doesn't concern me or any of my immediate friends, and in almost every way, homosexual people have the same rights as others. Aside from marriage, but that's quickly changing as society in America is expanding, and the mosaic growing larger, and the closed-mindedness of yesteryear is slowly fading away to modern demands. Politics, I'm conservative mainly but I do believe it's foolish to ally yourself to one belief too strongly because there are weak points to each side. That's all out of the way. For hobbies, I love music, as you can tell. Writing, playing, or listening to it. Even just talking about it. I'll talk forever about it, seriously. Other than that, I'm a typical guy. I play video games, watch TV, go to malls, hang with friends, and text or chill out on my computer. Not a sports fan though. Makes a bit of a rift between me and most people, but it's the truth. Don't ask me much about sports because I genuinely don't pay attention to any of it. Sorry. I'm pretty smart about anything with computers and technology. I do some 3D modelling and graphic design in my spare time, used to manage a website too. If anyone needs technical help, just message me.
