Perhaps the safest thing we can say about him, is that he was born in the world not just strongly attracted to beauty but, almost, hopelessly impaled on it." —Original book jacket copy,"The Catcher In The Rye" Dear reader, ..Im Alex, the protagonist of this grand story, and the world's my antagonist..im 15, but i'll act like im 12 most of the time..im actually pretty smart, but i hate school and fail most of the time..im trying to find some kind of beauty in the world around me now..just something to hold on to..i get depressed at random times, it comes out of nowhere and i really hate it..im pretty sick of most of the world..and im tired of being lied to..yea i know im scene you dont need to tell me..my self-esteem is pretty much shot to hell and im a insecure mess for the most part..im pretty narcasistic..but only bcuz im actually worried about what i look like..even though i pretty much hate it in the end anyway..Im a bit hypocritical in minor aspects..but i try not to be..i dont really trust anybody anymore.. I love music..im scared to death of growing old..which is mainly why i dont act my age..probably my most quintessential quality that makes up how i am, is my hate for "phonies"..and im amazinglly goood at being able to tell if someone is phony..cuz i hate fakes more than anything in this world..i have no time for them and wish they'd go jump off the empire state building..i spend alot of time on my hair and eyeliner and shit..failure by designer jeans - From First To Last, is "my song".. i guess if you want to know more just ask..and i MIGHT tell you...
