In 2002, I had a friend named Steve. He was at least 300+ pounds. We used to go to local hardcore shows all the time with some friends of ours. Of course, Steve being the size he was, was always made fun of for dancing or anything at shows. So one night, we were at a Will To Live, Die Young show when out of frustration we decided to form this group called "fatxmosh". Basically, it was against everyone who thought you had to look cool in the scene to fit in. It promoted the fact that we all go to shows because we like the music, and that is something that we all have in common. IT lasted for a while, bands formed and became part of the fatxmosh crew. People started catching on and wanting to be a part of it. After a while, Steve and some of the other main people in fatxmosh got into some crazy drugs and some bad lifestyles. Ultimately, they fought with each other and fatxmosh became a thing of the past. I was the only one to carry on the legacy of the fatxmosh. It has made a few attempts at a come back, but nothing solid. Fatxmosh for now, is just another nickname that I have accumulated over the years. But it is the one I hold closest at heart. FATXMOSH is just who I am.
