About Me
![]()
I have been called many things in my life, but it seems most call me Robert, or Rob. So I suppose you can as well. I write. A lot. And I write just about everything, poetry, short stories, novels, plays, screenplays, everything. Most of my poems and such a easily viewed at my website, which you can view here. Most of my poetry is also able to be seen, here, on the cult Poetic_Death some of my older writing is on my journal, and a few new pieces of mine can be found by clicking the 'View Writing' link at the top of this page. My style is a difficult one to describe. I take influence from people ranging from Rob Zombie, to Ray Bradbury, from Tim Burton to Steven King, and many others, including Joseph Vargo, Edgar Allan Poe, and H.P. Lovecraft. My favorite books/stories/poems: 'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe 'A Tell-Tale Heart' by Edgar Allan Poe 'The Bells' by Edgar Allan Poe 'Thou Art the Man' by Edgar Allan Poe 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess 'Dracula' by Bram Stoker 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelly 'Paradise Lost' by John Milton 'Herbert West--Reanimator' by H.P. Lovecraft 'The Outsider' by H.P. Lovecraft 'The Music of Erich Zann' by H.P. Lovecraft 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde' by Robert Louis Stevenson The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' by Victor Hugo I like a lot of movies, mostly horror and fantasy. I particularly enjoy films involving Rob Zombie or Tim Burton. Here's a list of my favorites: Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008) The Punisher The Crow The Boondock Saints House of 1000 Corpses The Devil's Rejects Edward Scissorhands The Ninth Gate The Nightmare Before Christmas Secret Window Carrie The Shining The Exorcist The (Original) Omen Halloween (The Entire Series, as well as Rob Zombie's brilliant remake.) Friday the 13th (The Entire Series) Nightmare on Elm Street (The Entire Series) From Dusk 'Til Dawn Interview With The Vampire Queen of the Damned John Carpenter's Vampires Dracula 2000 2001 Maniacs (Both Versions) House on Haunted Hill (Both Versions) Thirteen Ghosts (Both Versions) The Hills Have Eyes (Both Versions) Saw (The Entire Series) Bram Stoker's Dracula Hannibal Red Dragon Silence of the Lambs Hannibal Rising I read and write extensively on the occult, most outlets of it, from vampires to ghosts to magick. All of it, it fascinates me. I'm more of an overall occultist than a follower of one particular religion or belief system. But, I do respect my religious practices just as much as you respect yours, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't bring religious slander to my inbox. Anyway, if you desire to know anything else, feel free to message or comment me. I will always return a message or a comment, more than likely quite soon after you send it. I have MSN, and I'll likely add you if you ask. I'm an insomniac, so you are just as likely to catch me online at five in the morning, as you are five in the evening. Or any given hour in between.

Likes: There are a lot of things I like. Anything dark. that includes dark books, movies, music, and people. I love to write. I am doing so all the time. When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. I'm obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe. I also have an odd fascination with graveyards, mental asylums and the rain. There are thousands of other interests I have, feel free to ask about them. I'm very interested in the occult and the paranormal, and I have been studying such things since I was a very young child. These things have become reoccurring themes in my writing, and in most aspects of my life. My girlfriend, April, I like more than anything else. I love her more than I love anything else, and she's broken me free of the chains of depression that so long were locked about my neck. To her I am forever grateful. |
Dislikes

Dislikes: The morning, the sun, stupid people, people that judge me or my beliefs, people that hate me or my beliefs, people who are convinced that I worship the devil, people convinced that I should worship the devil, people convinced that the devil worships me...and so on and so forth. I dislike arrogance, cowardice, and ignorance. No one is free of these flaws, of this I am aware; I only dislike them in excess. But this is hardly the place for me to start one of my rants. |
Favorite Music

Music: I like a lot of different music. Anything dark, generally, but not always. Here are a few of my favorite bands, not in any real order, other than that I listen to Cradle of Filth the most. Cradle of Filth Midnight Syndicate Rob Zombie White Zombie Collide Lacuna Coil Tool Nox Arcana Iron Maiden A Perfect Circle Alice in Chains The following is a list of bands I listen to only on occasion, but I still listen to them enough to mention them; Staind Chimaira Korn Mudvayne Nirvana Slipknot Stone Sour Shinedown Godsmack Creed Disturbed Drowning Pool Saliva Seether Sevendust System of a Down Three Days Grace 3 Doors Down Acid Bath Audioslave Breaking Benjamin Finger 11 Killswitch Engage Flyleaf |
