★ Dominant vs submissive
A Dominant is someone who likes to or needs to define their environment & situation. This also means that they like to define their relationships (be in charge & state the terms of the relationship). Dominant does not necessarily mean that someone likes to boss people around, some Dominants may be into bossing people around, but not all. There is a difference between bossing people around & being the one who defines their own relationships & is in charge in them.
A submissive is someone who likes others to define their environment & situation for them. There is a difference between a sexual submissive & an actual submissive. A sexual submissive gets sexually aroused by being told what to do, but may or may not be an actual submissive. Most submissives are also sexual submissives, but many sexual submissives are not actual submissives.
A clear character trait which reveals that someone is not a submissive is if they are the judgmental type, as this is a trait which Dominants, but not submissives have.
I like to be the Dominant in relationships I have with women. This is something I need to enjoy a relationship.
★ Gorean
Gor is a low fantasy sci-fi world described in a series of over 30 novels. These novels started to be written in the 1960s and new ones are still being written. It describes a world based roughly on the ancient cultures of the Earth, with a focus on a BDSM and in particular D/s related style of sex slavery (yet it is also very distinctly different than BDSM) as a strong part of the culture of this fantasy world of the Gorean novels. The books are written by a college professional that taught philosophy and the novels themselves, even though they are written as fictional novels, are very philosophical, with much of the philosophy contained in them relating to ideas about how men and women relate to one another on a deeper more organic instinctual sexual level. They are very interesting for what ideas can be learned from their study, though understanding them can be challenging for many as they are written in a very intellectual style. I appreciate this writing style they are written in, but many people do not.
In Second Life, which is a online virtual world, there is much roleplay based on the Gorean novels. Some people as well there extend this online roleplay as a form of expressing the lifestyle concepts talked about in the Gorean novels in a immersive sense. For those into it in that way roleplaying in Gor in Second Life becomes an extension of the person's sense of who they are. It would be difficult to live in the ways written about in the Gorean novels as they relate to a totally different world, and one that exists only in fantasy, but it can be very nice to live it out in roleplay to as much of a degree as possible.
The ideas expressed in the Gorean novels strongly flavors my relationship tastes, even outside of Gorean roleplay. I adopt that style to my form of D/s, and the BDSM protocols I use in D/s relationships.

★ My Religion
I am a solitary liberal modernist Heathen. Heathenism is a reconstruction of the religion of the Vikings or related cultures. It is a form of Pagan religion. I follow the Norse gods (the Vanir and the Aesir), but am neither a Wiccan nor a strict reconstructionist. My focus is on the spiritual aspects of Heathenism and forms of practice that makes Heathenism valid for the modern times, and present day needs. I am a devotee of the goddess Freyja, and loyal to the ways of the Vanir, though I also of course honor the Aesir. The study of the runes is also part of my religion. They are used for both divination and magick.

★ Things I Don't Tolerate
Just a quick note about what kinds of things I don't tolerate. I don't tolerate religious extremists (even ones of my own religion), people who think their way is the only valid right way, dogmatic idiots, people who want to try to convert me or anyone to their particular religion, people who enjoy bashing others, people who enjoy telling others that they are wrong, people who enjoy arguing or starting fights, people who enjoy making drama, racists, anyone who judges other peoples sexuality or sexual orientation in any form, anyone who judges other peoples lifestyle choices, mean spirited people, people filled with hate, people who think their religious morels should apply to everyone even people who don't follow their religion, people who make rules for something yet then don't even follow them themselves, people with a lack of compassion for others, narrow-minded people, monetarily greedy people, people with no respect for the natural environment, people who are against spirituality, people who are against religion, people with no respect for the culture of others, people who think their culture should be forced on everyone in the whole world, people with no respect for world native indigenous cultures. Anyone who tries to promote any of these things in comments or any form of communications towards me shall be blocked and have their comments rejected.
★ Political Views
I am a Progressive. I can't stand the Republicans; they are a party of haters nowadays. I also can't stand the Democrats, they are a party that stands for nothing. MY political views are not mainstream for an American. I am pro-environmental protection, pro-choice, anti big corporation, against empire building/oil wars, in favor of programs which help the poor, believe strongly in separation of church and state, pro small business, in favor of equal rights for people of all sexual orientations to marry whom they want to, believe that the tax codes should be simplified and all the tax write offs for big businesses eliminated, believe that renewable energy resources need to become the main energy sources, am against car based culture, strongly pro public transportation and strongly pro bicycle transportation, and for the idea of the government paying for everyone to go to college like how things are in Europe.
My viewpoints on genders through are very traditional in some aspects and I am against feminism, though I do believe that men and women should have equal legal and workplace rights. I feel that it is important for women to be what women are and men to be what men are and for them not to try to be the same, as both are unique as what they are, and are of equal importance but compliment each other as unique and different. I feel that when both try to be the same then it becomes hard for men and women to maintain enjoyable relationships with each other. I feel that men should be in charge and that women should be of a supporting role, in terms of personal relationships. This kind of arrangement more suits the ways that human emotions have developed over the majority of the time of human development.
I strongly support a women's rights to have control over reproductive aspects of her body, including her rights to terminate pregnancy if she wishes to. This means I strongly believe in making birth control very easily accessible and affordable (or ideally free).
I feel that women should not be judged negatively for having sexual wants and for acting upon them, even with many partners, so long as she does so in a safe responsible way. Actually I feel it is good to encourage women to be as sexual as possible as their natural and proper nature is deeply connected to intense sexuality. I believe the term slut is a positive term and should be used as a compliment towards women who are truly in touch with their sexuality and willing to act on their needs; to do so is an extremely good thing. I believe the free expression of sexuality by both genders is a good thing. I feel that repressing the sexuality of either gender leads to a weak and unhealthy society.
I think that nudity and sexuality should be allowed to be shown on TV shows that are geared towards an adult audience. Actually I feel that violence should not be allowed on TV shows geared for general audiences as much as it is now. Even I feel there should not be laws prohibiting public nudity or any laws disallowing public sexual expression done between consenting adults.
I feel that science, religion, and spirituality are not at odds with each other, but are just pursuing the same goals (the betterment of the human condition), but starting from different directions. We are starting to see at this point in history that in some areas science and religion are starting to come together in some areas of understanding. This is most apparent in the areas of quantum physics at this time, but these areas of shared perspective shall grow as science grows in it's understanding of what the nature of reality is actually comprised of.
I believe that people should be allowed to immigrate to other countries and given opportunities to do so. The culture of a place grows when the people of that country are exposed to the culture of other ethnic groups. All throughout all of human history the greatest leaps in technology and human ideas have come about though the interaction of different ethnic cultures together. Without this culture exchange of ideas between ethnic groups, cultural ideas tend to stagnate and impede social progress. The mixing together of new things from other sources is the way all things in the universe grow stronger. When only the same is being constantly mixed together, things become weakened. This is a law of how nature itself works. In more ancient times in which war between different ethnic groups was very common, this process of the need to gather in ideas and even as well DNA from other ethnic groups happened through the process of war. When an enemy was defeated their women would be captured and then be made to be part of the conquering group, and of course these women would in time be made to marry the men of the conquering group, and some taken as slaves also (and likely made to provide sexual pleasure for the men who have enslaved them). End some of the men of the group that has been defeated may be made to be slaves also, but the ancient world concept of slavery generally included the chance for the slave to eventually work their way towards being a free person again. Of course freed slaves would then become a normal part of the culture group they had previously been enslaved in, and likely also reproduce within that group and contribute to the diversity of the groups DNA. Also in some cultures such as the northern ones which the Vikings derived from, it was common to encourage traveling strangers that visit to sleep with your wife so that new DNA can be interjected into the group, and then the man would adopt any child that resulted as his own (this practice is shown in the Rígsþula from the Poetic Edda). Another practice common with the Vikings, and the cultures the Vikings derived from, was the exchange of hostages when a war does not have a clear winner and it is decided to call a truce. The Norse form of hostage exchange involved the hostages becoming part of the new group they are made to live in and then living by it's culture and social rules. Of course many such hostages then would end up marrying into people from the group they have now come to life with, and the children of the hostages would become a normal part of this new group. Thus from all these things in no way did the DNA or even the culture of various groups stay the same. It was always mixing with outside ethnic groups and thus keeping the culture and physical health of that ethnic group strong by mixing in elements from the outside. The concept of different human “races” is a 19th century idea that has no basis in actual science or reality. Even cultural groups such as the Vikings had no concept of different ethnic groups, only the concept of people from other tribes, or people that follow different gods/goddesses than them (but they even did not until the late period have the concept of different religions). This concept of people from other tribes had nothing to do with the physical appearance of the other people, but instead only on that groups social allegiance. In truth the physical makeup of any ethnic group is just a mixture of different physical traits which that group of people evolved towards over long periods of time living in a certain area of the planet. Humans over long periods of time if they live in smaller isolated groups (as was the case in the past) will physically develop traits that help them best able to adopt to the weather and climate conditions of their area. These are well known facts by anyone with any knowledge of the social sciences, but unfortunately there are many people out there who are afraid of loosing their own ingrained ethnic culture and have backwards 19th century ideas of there being different human “races”. This issue is further encouraged by the fact that many US governmental bureaucratic forms that people have to fill out, which incorrectly ask a person what their “race” is. It would be more correct to ask what someone's ethnic background is. Ethnic background is related to the language a person speaks and the related social culture that language group has developed.
I feel strongly that many copyright and patent laws go too far and that more knowledge should be considered open source and part of the collective commons of human knowledge. Human society is built on the sharing of knowledge. Documents, drawings, photos, audio recordings including music, art, books, stories, movies and TV shows, items from the past, even computer programs, these are all forms of knowledge. They all enhance human awareness on some level. In modern times we are lucky in that we have more ways to share knowledge and more tools for doing so more quickly. In ancient times there often was only stories and forms of sculpture for sharing knowledge. Thus we now live in a time, at least for now, in which human knowledge can grow quickly. All this knowledge needs to be part of the collective commons of humanity for it to most help human society to grow in awareness and spiritual progress. Yes I do feel that not only individuals but whole societies grow spiritually. We live in a time in which society is also to make a huge spiritual leap very quickly. The spiritual level of the society as a whole strongly effects the basic level of spiritual awareness that it's citizens start off at, even without them pursuing an individual spiritual path. This is a good thing for all as the more spiritually aware a society is, the more enjoyable life is for all beings on the planet, and the more connected we are to the divine as well.
