My name is
Beatriz. I have a band which is called
Velorium, we are a all-female black metal band. The inspiration of all our lyrics is taken from real facts that happen to us and from the fruits. We like fruits very much, especially Bananas. I play the keyboards, I learned it for 6 months : ), I do some grunts in the songs too. The other member of the band is Juliana, she sings very well like Tarja Turunen. Our band is very creative and I bet you've never heard something like that. : D
Okay, that's all about my band. Now let's say about me. Caham. As I said, my name is Beatriz and I live in
Rio de Janeiro , the second biggest city of
Brazil. We speak
portuguese here. Please,
I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH . I've taken spanish classes for 2 years, but I don't speak it fluently. Ive did 2 years
italian classes, but I don't remember anything. : D My father is italian and I was in Italy when I was 7, but I don't remember anything too. The parents of my grandparents were from Portugal, like the most of the population of Brazil, almost everyone has portuguese ancestrals. =] XD I learn

I am very interested in other cultures, other languages, other places, so, if someday you want to talk with someone about your place, I will always hear you! XD I have already been to Italy with my family as I said and also did exchange trips to Canada and Germany, they were amazing and it's always a good opportunity to meet new people! Now I am looking forward to learn
Russian, I just need to find classes in my city. T_T I only know some words and sentences that I've been taught by friends in Germany. XD
I accept myself the way I am. I won't wear corsets and lots of make up just to have a higher rating, I am myself, if you want to rate me or leave a comment, it's your choice, I'll keep being myself, ok? Thanks. : D I feel comfortable with who I am and I don't feel the need of wearing make up 24 hours a day to be accepted by the population. :]
VF is cool, but it isn't life. People can be very different outside internet. People shouldn't give too much importance to VF as I see they doing. I don't care how many ratings, pictures, cults you have. I won't rate if I think your profile is stupid, even if you are the most rated person ever. You and me are equal, I won't try to be your friend just because you are popular, I won't downrate you, I'll simply ignore your existence. I like to talk with unique people, not with
empty people with lots of make up and obscene pictures trying to have a high self esteem. I like talking through comments, so don't hesitate to send me lots of comments and have a conversation through them! I can stay like days replying your comments. One day surely I'll add you to my msn. XD I just like to know the people behind the profiles and the pictures. I also love writing letters and postcards, if anyone wants a postcard from Rio, just tell me!

I care about the people burning trees in the Rainforest. I wish I was rich so I could help at least a bit the world. But I am not. Well, my life is not so movimented or full of events, like the one of a big part of the users here must be. =D I wake up everyday, go to school, come back home, sleep and stay here in front of the computer for hours long. :'D My favourite things to do are staying in front of computer, writing letters and postcards, listening to music and
surely watching
mexican soap operas. They are really good, interesting and funny. My favourite ones are
Rebelde, Maria La Del Barrio and
Rubi. I watch mexican soap operas since my 6 years, my first ones were
La Ursupadora and
O Privilégio De Amar They are like a part of my identity and I'm proud of watching them. Brazilian soap operas are cool sometimes, but nothing is like a mexican soap opera to me.
My idol is
Silvio Santos. If you are from Brazil, I am sure you've heard about him, if you aren't, you will hear about him
a lot if you talk to me. I make thousands of jokes about him but he is the master. He was a person from a low middle class family, and with his ability to communicate with people now he owns a tv channel, his own hotel and much more you can't even imagine. He is so rich and he deserves to be rich, yet he uses his money to help people. In his tv shows, he always gives out money. He is very humble and everyone respects him. I want to follow his example and be rich just with my mind and good luck. I was born the same day and the same month as Silvio (just not the same year, duh), so if horoscope is real, I hope I'll have the same sucess as him. =)
The first metal band I started to hear was Iron Maiden The first song I heard of them was
Fear Of The Dark . I was like 11 years old and I was listening to the
Radio Cidade (RIP. =[ The radio was bought by a pop radio.). Then I didn't stop anymore. : D Metallica, Nigthwish, Epica and bla bla bla. But I'm not a closed minded who just wants to listen what makes noise. After I've met Iron Maiden and so on, I've met the beautiful mexican soap operas too. They fascinate me and I'm not afraid to say that I love RBD, Shakira, Vanilla Ninja and these pop bands. : D
Well, I'm here to make friends, meet nice people (I hope that here I can find nice people, cof cof) and promote our band
Velorium. I'm not here interested on showing my face for you to comment and make my ego higher. No, thanks. I'll meet people, not pictures.
