About Me
My name is Lauren, I'm 22 years old, and I live in Connecticut. My birthday is on September 7th. I work in animal care and I have seven pet rats, a cat, a parakeet, and a dog. I love them all so much! I drew my layout myself in MS Paint, and yes... it did take way longer than it should have. I have my own apartment. My mom and I don't really see eye to eye, so while I see her every once in a while, it's just best that I have my own place. I don't have a roommate. I don't trust people.
I consider myself to be a pretty likable person. I scuba dive, horseback ride, enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I also love going to concerts!! I've seen Hinder, Lynam, The Used, Yellowcard, The Ataris, Less Than Jake, Mindless Self Indulgence, Eighteen Visions, and most recently Marilyn Manson. :D
As far as dating goes, yes, I am single. No, I am not looking. The reason? I am far too picky, and I TRULY believe that nobody meets my standards. After a few bad relationships, I have come to realize that I am way better, and worth way more, than I ever thought that I was. I'm done with all this abusive crap; I'm done dating losers, bums, fat smelly assholes. I don't want someone who thinks they can fix me, or promises to be the best person ever. I don't want someone who needs me to complete them, or thinks they can complete me. I am already whole, and happy.
Though dating me is difficult, being my friend is not. I love making new friends!! Let's go out for coffee, lunch, etc. and discuss life, music, and whatever is on your mind! I have met some of my best friends on VF, and I love meeting my online friends in real life. I have a whole lot of gay friends. If you're reading this, and happen to be a female, I am in the market for a new female best friend. >.> Just saying.
