CHECK OUT THE NEW E.P ON MYSPACE!!songs will be pasted on V.F shortly.!> Unforsaken truth's biography Unforsaken truth was formed early in 2007 with the vision of bringing a more deathcore feel to the South African metal/hardcore scene. The band was gradually adapting their unique and intense sound until it became the synergystic creature that it is today. Unforsaken Truth is seen as intense, powerful and energetic with heavy breakdowns that is complemented with immensely ranging vocal ability, technical drumming, flowing basslines and progressive guitaring. The vocalist is the lyricist of the band and the lyrics are generally about personal life experiences and feelings, not just touching the lyricist, but the whole band. The name Unforsaken truth was chosen to portray how the band felt :"No chains can ever keep us down, in God we trust". A month into playing they went into the studio and recorded their first song "As the sadness fades away". Soon after that "A reason to believe" made it to a recording and "This hole is where my heart used to be" followed. They have recently entered the demofilter competition and are currently number 1 and have also recently been added to www.thefight.co.za (a website dedicated to promote hardcore/metalcore bands in S.A). Unforsaken truth is a very dedicated band and does everything to promote their band and the people and groups supporting them. Unforsaken truth will keep on doing what they do to promote metal music in South Africa. Fundamentally Unforsaken truth make music to not only enjoy themselves but also to entertain ALL METALHEADS in South Africa.
