Profile: I'm just a simple girl, easy to please. I appreciate witty humour and intelligent conversations, don't be shy, I always respond to nice messages, it'd be rude not to! Likes: My son Torin, who is 7 and a curious George! Coffee in the morning, or better still, in the afternoon as I've not had to get up! A glass of wine after a shit day. (or in fact any day!) History and language, I love to discover new things about places and their people, listening to dialects and trying to figure out the origins. I adore martial arts movies, the grace and majesty of their choreography astounds me, and you can't beat a bit of Oriental slapstick! Anything to do with the Vampiric, I'm in lust with the whole genre. Rocking the night away with all my favourite people. Films that make you laugh, cry or think, and books that do the same. People who are true to themselves and understand what honesty and friendship really means Catching others smiling at me, and smiling back. Music that gives me goosebumps. Trying something different for the first time, a place, a taste, a touch. Laughing till I cry and my stomach hurts. Watching my son sleeping/laughing or achieving something new. Being artistic, I love to draw, it soothes me. I love to write, it releases me. Reading novels (or cereal packets if I'm desperate) Wallowing in human expression, language has the power to do so many things to you.Dislikes: Shit days,(especially minus coffee or wine). Working when I'm tired. Nightmares that that are so lucid I cannot shake the aftermath. Liars (but not the little kind, the whoppers 'didn't I tell you I was married' etc.). People who can't listen and spend all their time talking over you. Pretentious people who think they know, or are, better than you. My jealousy and over emotional reactions. Cruelty, in all forms. Emotionally inflicted pain, the kind that makes you want to escape from the world. People who have never known any pain and be-little yours as hysterics. Rave music....AARGH. Flirts, who go after your man just to piss you off. Labels and wannabes, and people who are cowardly (yes downraters who leave a 1 and try to sneak off - I mean YOU) To be stuck somewhere without a book.....I think I'd go insane!Favorite Music: Wow - what a choice to make. It often depends on my mood. I can swing between Killswitch Engage and InMe to Brand New,from Him to The Mission, or Sisters of Mercy and Paradise Lost; To Audioslave, Breed 77 and quite often Billy Talent, Fair to Midland and Jeff Buckley. There are so many greats out there! Right now I'm enjoying a compliation called 'Beautiful Voices' that combines some awesome female vocalists from all over the world in a variety of rock, metal, Operatic rock, death growls and folk. Such fantastic talent as Within Temptation, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Leaves Eyes and Arch Enemy....Superb!
