Profile: Tao, my name is Re (like the music note) I am 20 years old and I love to dance. I have been belly-dancing for a few years now and have developed quite a passion for it. Another passion is my Renaissance group which is what got me into the belly-dancing in the first place. I've also belly-danced at open mic night before, but I prefer singing blues for that audience. However, Knight Winds started my life as a belly-dancer. My character is a gypsy-gone-mercenary named Eris and she has become a part of myself. The thing people don't realise is that when you play a character regularly (about 6 years in this case) they become a part of you as they develope. I've even caught myself slipping into her accent once or twice in everyday conversation. Before Campanya (Eris before she became a merc.), I played the Princess Sylvia. The roles are different sides of the same story really. One, a Princess who longs to live with the freedom of a gypsy, the other, a gypsy who maintains that freedom by hiding that she is a Princess. In a way, both of them are me. However, Campanya is more exciting to play while both fight and dance, the dancing is more lively as Campanya, and the fighting is more aggressive.Eris came about as Campanya's identity was revealed, now she has gone into hiding by becoming a mercenary. I also play Vampire the Masquerade alot. I have 2 characters, one is a stripper/industrial rocker named Renata, and the other is a Cainite Heretic named Lamia. If you play too you should leave a comment, I'd love to hear about your character or your favorite sessions as I'm always looking for good ideas for games. In the "real world" my life is pretty simple. I sing and I do artwork, and I spend time with my boyfriend. I fuss over things like what to wear and I design my future tatoos. The next step in my tattoo process is to have my vines tattooed onto one of the tattoos I have now. All my tattoos have some religious significance and since I'm of an earth-based faith, I plan to have the same vines either around or worked into each tattoo. That way, they'll all match. I had beautiful brown dreadlocks untill recently, I now have strait brown hair cut at shoulder length. I've yet to post a picture of my new hair. I'm constantly working on some art project, learning new mediums, skills, and techniques. I'm currently apprenticing as a tattoo artist and will afterward go to artschool for my BFA in metals and jewelry. I am very pleased with both ideas but I'm not to keen on the temporary leave I would have to take from Knight Winds. Either way, I will remain a member and attempt to be as active in the group as I can. I've been apprenticing at Smokin' Gun Tattoos for almost a year now, I've bought my pigments, machines, power supply, clipcord, and footswitch but I need a few more things before I can start practicing. So for now I'm scrubbing everything from tubes to toilets. I also draw up alot of the tats for my boss make the stencils and often apply them as well. I love my job and the shop is my family. I eat dinner with them every night and spend a decent amount of time outside of work in their company too. I have no signs and if my clothes are ripped it's because I fell. Likes: Sword-fighting, sword-dancing, belly-dancing, friendly spirits (be they human, animal, plant, or mineral), people who treat others with love and respect, my tribe, spending time with people I care about, industrial rock (I'm trying to get my own group together) and most electronic music, Tattoos (I wanna be an artist) painting, vinyl, corsets FREEDOM!!!! 1. Pagans shall have the right to redress when their religious rights are abused. 10. Pagans shall be able to wear sacred symbols of their faith in environments where followers of other faiths are free to express themselves similarly.
