Profile: I am Arien Lovas. I am currently an undergraduate student, majoring in philosophy and minoring in Latin. This fall I will be starting work on my master's in philosophy while working with undergraduates in their intro classes. I love learning, intelligent discussion, sharing knowledge, and questioning all things in life. I have no developed spiritual beliefs. I do, however, find these things to be true: Every person on earth, regardless of where they are from or what they have done, is entitled to the same basic human rights. Also, everyone is entitled to believe in any faith, so long as practicing that faith does not violate the rights of others. I have a strong passion for the arts, particularly the visual ones. I spend a good amount of time drawing, painting, sculpting, and sewing. However I am not skilled enough in these areas to make much of a career, so they remain an arbitrary hobby. I am quick to make friends with a person if we share common interests. However it will take me a while to develop trust. Also, I tend to bond more easily with men than women. I only have two female friends near and dear to me, but eight males.Likes: Dragon art/jewelry, drawing, anime/manga, photography/filming, gaming, water, fire, snow days, Nelson Ledges, nature in general, Bahamas, Myrtle Beach, Florida.Dislikes: Spicy food. Miserably hot and humid days. Unexpected loud noises and bright lights. Drinking only for the sake of getting drunk.Favorite Music: The Used, Gorillaz, Mudvayne, Korn, Vicious Alliance, Cirque Du Soleil, The Prodigy.
