The early years I grew up in the city I still live in today. St. Louis, MO. Growing up here was fairly simple. You had friends, you went to school, etc. The only difference where I live is, no one was around. I was basically the only kid for about 5 years, until i was 12. The other kids moved, due to neighborhood problems. I was named after my father. And I grew up listening to the same music my parents listened to. I didn't discover the radio until I hit 7th grade, because I was sucked in with television and video games. My first game was Super Mario Bro's in 3rd grade. My father would listen to Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, etc. Classic Rock. Mother, Christian music and Country. Bet you can't figure out which genre I stuck with. All in all, I was the typical Missouri boy. I played soccer, baseball..Except I grew up with a weight problem I'm still living with now. As a child, I obsessed over Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Dragonball Z. I was a nerd, now that I look back...
The Fucker You Know Now I am a junior in High School and I am currently 17. A lot has changed since my childhood. I out grew a "Wigger" stage, as some politely called it. I was into the Rap scene from 6th-7th grade. That quickly changed when I was brought to the Rock scene when I noticed a classmate, Brandon, who was obsessed with H.I.M. I learned of this site from him. So I created an account and fell in love with Rock. That's basically me today. I love music. I don't play, but I've been wanting to learn drums. I still play video games (I switched from Nintendo to Microsoft). I'm not perfect. I'm not out-of-the-ordinary, I'm not average. I'm Mike, and I plan to stay that way (unless I fall in debt with the Mafia, then a name change may be in order). I'm single. And I grew my hair out, as opposed to the buzz cut that I had as a child. There's a lot to know about me, Its just to what extent will I share this with you.
In the not so far future.. As I look forward, I begin to set goals. My goal is to travel to Ireland, and to attend a writing school. My passion has been, and forever will be, writing. Short Stories, Poetry, hell, maybe even Novels eventually. As for the topic of a family, well, currently, I don't plan on having kids. And the fact of Marriage doesn't appeal to me. But maybe, just maybe, my thoughts will change. Maybe you could change them. Who knows. Anything can happen in the gamble we call life.
