About Me
My name is Tanya. I'm nineteen and I can't wait to be twenty. I live in my own little world, staying in touch with reality only because I have to. I'm going to start Nursing Science next year. But I want to be a writer.
My bark is worse than my bite. I will help anyone who asks for it, and also those who don't. If I'm wrong about something I will always apologize, but if I think I am right, you will never hear an 'I'm sorry' out of me. My pride is everything - I have ruined relationships, friendships and turned people against me because I physically cannot swallow my pride. I find the thought nauseating.
My starsign is on the cusp between Gemini and Cancer, so to get an idea of what I'm like you'd have to examine the strengths and weaknesses of both signs. However because I lean toward Cancerian tendencies, I'd sooner call myself a Cancer. What I find funny, though, is people who tell me furtively, "No, you're a Gemini, cause of your birthday." These are the people who don't know me at all...!
I consider myself highly intelligent [sorry if that sounds egotistical to you] and as such, small talk bores me. I prefer conversations with people on my own level. Discussion on religion, philosophy, science, psychology and nature are welcomed. If I don't know about a particular subject I will say so. Ignorance is not a crime, but knowing you are ignorant and doing nothing about it is! I truly believe that knowledge is power and you can bring the most powerful people to their knees with an open mind and a wealth of knowledge.
Depression has ruined my life over the past 6 years. So to all those who pretend they have it, and know they don't - you are despicable and I will call you out if I think you are faking. To those who think they have it, or even feel down - message me! I am more than happy to provide support.
