My name is Lauren, but you can call me L, Laur, Sin, Sinny or any sort of derivative of my name or nickname. I'm nineteen years old and attend Bellevue Community College. I have no clue what I want to do with the rest of my life so I'm simply going for some sort of AA degree. Only time will tell what I choose.

I'm not the type of person to put up with bullshit, so I frequently come off as arrogant, rude, cruel and simply a bitch, but the truth is that I am simply blunt. I speak my mind with no hesitation whatsoever. I don't care if what I say offends you, you just need to know that I have NO intention of offending you in the first place. If it it happens, it's by pure coincidence. I am very opinionated and have something to say on every subject, due to this, I love debate. Some things really confuse me though, like why there is such a negative stigma on telling the truth. Yeah, the truth can hurt, but I think lying and postponing the truth only makes it that much worse. So, if you have something to say to me, say it to my face, I'll respect you for that, much more so than I would if you lied to me. I DO NOT easily forgive people, it takes a lot to earn my trust back, but everyone has my trust right off the back, only you can decided to use it or lose it.

I have won many awards and have been recognized as artist of the month at my previous high school. I don't have a mastered area of photography, I just do whatever; Free-lance.

I've reached a point in my life where I am actually happy. For the first time in a while I'm content with my self and who I am. Part of this has to do with graduating high school and being so successful in everything I took part in. My boyfriend, Alex, has also contributed to me finding myself. I've been dating him for over two and a half years without problems. He's everything to me (no matter how cheesy that sounds) and I would jump in front of a bullet for him.

As far as my personality goes, I am a social person, but it takes some coaxing out before it's noticeable. I'm introverted upon meeting, but I warm up quickly. I am fairly sarcastic and sometimes I may not even sound like I'm being sarcastic even when I am. Judging other people is not something I like to do, nor like to participate in. If you have something to say about someone, tell it to them, not me. I see the behavior of picking on someone as a cry for help. If I offend you, let me know, because it's not my intention and I will do anything to resolve that problem.

I am atheist, and what I hate most about religion is when people force their own upon others. I'm not going to tell you that there's no god if you believe in one, so don't tell me there is one when I don't believe in one. As far as my political standpoint goes, I'm independent; partly green, partly libertarian, partly democractic. I am voting for Obama, despite the fact that he plans to run his platform through his Christian faith. Personally, I think there should be a separation of church and state... Like it was SUPPOSED to be in the beginning. Of course that doesn't mean the president has to be atheist, he should keep his faith out of political matters.
