I'm never on VF anymore. Last update was sept 07. If you really want to get hold of me then use facebook or email me (f.dubery AT hotmail.com).
Will update profile at some point, but since last writing I've completed my first year at Cambridge (got a first, fear my l33t skillz), been to various festivals and pretty much joined the circus. That and got another year older.
So yeah. No-one reads this but it hardly takes a lot of effort to occasionally update...

Ego sum Frankie. Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis ad capul tuam saxum immane mittam.
I am 18, female and not the most serious of folk.
Despite inhabiting England and being an Aquarian, I am vegetarian and do not have a pet kangaroo.
A little weaponry collection has led to my immensely logical mind and earth-shattering intellect. It is the tubes of glitter that have caused the arrogance.

This gorgeous fiery-coloured world of ours... Seems fallen into ashes dull and grey... And the age changed unto a mimic play... Wherein we waste our else too crowded hours: ... For all our pomp and pageantry and powers... We are but fit to delve the common clay. ~~Oscar Wilde

In brief

Francesca / Frankie / Tylpea / Ielear

Alter-ego: Cut-throat Frank, Head of Artillery on the feared pirate vessel the Deathstar, captained by Mad Captain Blackhat. Along with second-in-command Florence the Mutinous and a random scuba diver named Sharkbait (ooh hah hah!) I terrorise the inhabitants of Port Newstead with jelly sweets and a rifle. Avast!!

Alter-ego pet: PIR8, a Sainsbury’s pirate vessel, who now inhabits the woods by my house, feeding on stray emo-kids and making odd noises at anyone with a side-combed fringe.

I:
Hold contradictory viewpoints

Have skewed priorities
Collect weaponry but have run out of money
Am too lazy for my own good
Like to decorate myself and others
Can recognise many friends by scent
Find conveying thoughts through speech very difficult
Cannot be judged on past behaviour
Hide emotions
Believe in fundamental human selfishness
And capital punishment
And agape
Can seem meaner to friends than enemies

Procrastinate
Don’t wash my hair often enough
Am perfect [almost]
Have self esteem that varies erratically
Would make a great dictator
Am helminthophobic
Read too many books
Tend to show affection through violence
Daydream constantly
Seem to be catatonic when am really listening
Find people genuinely interesting
But I don’t trust anyone
Love archery despite being crap at it
Play with fire
Seem to be losing my short term memory...

I believe that:
Art makes society more than just a mindless rabble and gives existence reason beyond sex and survival.
It is better to speak positively or breath deeply than to waste breath and time dwelling on the negative aspects of life.

An eagle flew across heaven, a bird over the sky; it came to look at this: ‘Why has this been left- the birch tree not felled, the fine tree not cut?’. The old Vainamoinen said: ‘This is why it has been left- for birds to rest on, the sky’s eagle to sit on’. The eagle, the sky’s bird said ‘And you have done well: you have left the birch growing, the fine tree standing, for birds to rest on, myself to sit on’. ~~The Kalevala; Felling and Sowing
