Since lots of people thought it was necissary to spam my inbox full with questions and half baked discussions about my food pattern, lets once and for all clear this all up. For the people who think long posts are boring to read, quit here, but never ever send me a PM about this subject again. In a world filled with world wars, unequal rights, intolerance, pollution and other shits we seem to have forgotten the most valuable thing we’ve got: life. People claim to know the value of life, by speaking out their dissaprovals to massmurders, genocide and the death penalty... but these moral standards suddenly seem to dissapear when it’s dinner time and the steak is ready. Without any problem, the majority of the people who claim to be against any useless deaths shove dead animal parts down their throat. Smiling and giggling while they eat another hamburger, to be ready to speak full of dissaproval when another murder has reached the national news... call me hypocrite now. “Yes, but they are humans, not animals... that makes the difference.”, I can hear people think now. Well my friends, lines like these can make me furious. Why should we murder (maybe I should write it in capital: MURDER) billions of innocent animals because we need a piece of meat on our plate? If some mad professor was busy in some laboratory up a dark hill, keeping 20 babies in cages as small as the screen of your computer, because he needed their meat, urine and shit to feed his chimpansee, his practises would be considered ‘obscure’, ‘insane’, ‘senseless’ and many more things like that. Of course, these judgements are truely based on facts, but then, why are we still doing these very same things to animals? Its obscure, insane and senseless to commit genocide on animals day after day after day again. Every death of an animal in the bio industry is another murder, and humanity is to blame. “Ok, so I see your point about the meat, but what about the milk and the eggs? They are products of living animals, no animal has been killed for these products”, I hear you think now. For the perfect answer to this, I’d like to quote some lines out of “Los Alamos #3” magazine: ‘Some vegetarians believe their choices don’t hurt laying hens and dairy cows. However, vegetarians who eat eggs contribute to the death of 200 million (!) roosters a year. Since there is not such a thing as a ‘layer rooster’ these animals serve no purpose in the egg industry and are killed shortly after hatching. Most layer hens are kept five to a tiny battery cage, where they must stand and sleep on a wire floor 24 hours a day. Living under this horrible conditions, a hen needs about 30 hours to lay just one egg. Even though a chicken can live five years, most of them are killed before their second birthday because their ‘egg production’ declines with the age. Just as hens lay fewer eggs, dairy cows produce less milk as they get older. Even though a cow can live 20 years, most dairy cows are sent to slaughterhouses before their 6th birthday. Additionally, the veal industry could never exist in its present form without the existence of the dairy industry. Each dairy cow produces about five calves during her lifetime, only one of which on average will become a dairy calf. Male calves, since they can’t become dairy cows, are often sold to the veal industry for about five dollars each. The flood of cheap calves created by the diary industry allows the veal industry to survive in its current form’ Mostly at this time, the excuses show up behind every corner. “Well yes, I see your point, but I couldn’t live without animal products.” Most of the people claming this did not even take the time to try it out. Specially these days, its very easy to find alternative products. In almost every supermarket you can find alternatives for meat, and if you search a little further you’ll even find soja milk, vegan yoghurt, vegan chocolate and many more. In my opinion, it’s just a matter of spirit. Do you really wish to eliminate all the animal products in your life, or do you just want to try it out and stop if it gets too difficult? That got you wondering, right? Another wellknown excuse is the “well humans have always eaten meat, so why change it?” one. This one is maybe one of the most stupidest one I have ever heard. Humans have always lived in caves and humans have always worn no clothes, so why change it? Because its healthier I hear you say? Several scientific investigations have proven that the alternatives are almost as healthy as the animal products. A vegan or vegetarian meal is also more diverse and can be very delicious too when you prepare things right. It all might take some time to learn, but when I had to make the choice to learn this refreshing way in stead of eating 80 animals a year (that’s the average mentioned on several sites) I didn’t had to think a second about it. People who think that to become vegan or vegetarian only helps out the animals are wrong again. Although this world is overpopulated, there’s still more than enough land to use to make sure that not a single person on this world would be starving. The problem is that some of the most fertile parts are used the wrong way. We build slaughterhouses, we use it to create food for the animals in the slaughterhouses... we use it to produce more and more meat in stead of using it the right way. The majority of this problem is, how ironicly, based in third world countries like Brazil and big parts of Africa. While their own population is starving to death, the meat is exported to the States and Europe to make money. Another good example of the meaning of the word ‘hypocrisy’. After reading this all, you probably thought that I am some kind of die hard vegan activist. This isn’t really the truth. Of course I mind all animal products, and yes I am pro-animal rights and animal liberation, but I am not one of those people who got issues against everybody who doesn't agree with me. With posts like these, I'd like to make people think about the things they eat, but I am not telling people what to eat and what not. So, to keep it short, it’s not about allergy of any kind, but about a clear mind, a clear heart and strong princips. If you wish to name me as a rebel veggie or a wannabe vegan after reading this all, go ahead I don’t care. Don’t send me those annoying PMs anymore [Why did you stop eating meat? Why don’t you drink milk or eat eggs anymore? Are you a veggie or a vegan?], the answers are all here. If you still have questions burning on your toungue, which I think is quite impossible, then feel free to ask, but only wellthought arguments please.
Lets have a nice conversation - right here, right now. What are your views on life? You like it, right? (emo people not included). But, just between you and me, do you make differences between your own and someone elses life? Come on, just tell me, I won’t betray you. Yes you do, don’t you? You love life, but just your own life. Why should you care about the life of harmless animals, children in Third World countries, innocent victims of war and your neighbours? Come on, don’t try to defend yourself now... ”But I do care about the life of animals! I even have two cats of which I take excellent care of!” Yes, I am sure you do take good care of your cats. And you probably love dogs too. And you used to have birds when you were little. But on the other side, do you care about hens, cows, sheeps or pigs? Speciecism could be a word you never heard of before, but it clearly fits in your dictionairy. You would never kill a cat or beat up a dog, but you eat dead cows with ease (and you’re even enjoying it!). Elephants need to live free in the places they belong, but hens can be hold in cages for egg production and slaughter afterwards. In the essence of our souls, there is no difference between ours and theirs. A trout, a lobster, a cow, a pig, a sheep, a hen or any other animal give the same values on their lifes as we do, and they would defend it the best they can like us. They can feel the same emotions like us – they are scared while they’re approaching the butcher’s knife, they feel sad while their kids are taken away from them for vivisection or murder, they feel pain when their beaks are burned away... the same emotions we feel while we’re in these situations. And you probably claim to be against bullfighting and vivisection, but still you eat the meat of the dead bull and buy products that are tested on animals... and, do you wear fur, suede or leather? ”Of course I do care about the kids in Third World countries! It’s unfair! And... stuff...” It’s unfair indeed, but how can you claim that you care about them? You buy cheap shoes, t-shirts, socks and other products made by them without even bothering. You support organisations who make these human exploitation possible. For example, the bank you’re having a saving account on... do you know where they invest your money in? About 97% (!) of the banks all over the world invest their (read: your) money in companies like Wall Markt, Shell and many others who are KNOWN for human exploitation, Third World pollution and even Third World genocide. All you care about is the “American dream” (yes, also in Europe), and what is happening to less fortunate people isn’t any of your buisness. Don’t they have souls too? And feelings? And rights? And... stuff? ”And why do you say I don’t bother about the innocent victims of war? Of course I do, I’m not a senseless person!?” Senseless, no – selfish, yes. When a good friend of you dies in a war, black days are coming for you... but, when 1.000 unknown people die you just say “Oh, thats really terrible...” but then you watch the commercial breaks and you see what sale products you’re going to buy tomorrow. When a soldier out of your country dies in a war far away he died as a hero, but when some other (innocent) soldier dies he’s just one of the many victims out there. And lets be honest now, when you see another suicide bombing in Iraq, do you really care or do you think “Oh, its another one again, lets check out tomorrow’s weather...”? Once again, you only care about your own life and feelings – what happens out there, why should you bother? And I haven’t even mentioned other groups like the chronical diseased ones, the invalid ones, the retired ones, the homeless ones, etc. etc. etc... So, the very few ones who do dare to admit that they really fit into these examples now see that they claim to love life, but in fact they only love their own. The thing here I don’t understand is that they do love their own life, but then on the other hand they infect themselves with all kinds of poisons... because well, it’s ‘cool’. Tobacco is the main addictive drug we know in our world. This is already been known for quite some years, but still people keep on buying and smoking new cigarettes. In this ‘modern’ millenium with iPods, mobile phones and more we still can’t understand why we shouldn’t smoke. And then, we happen to also have found a cool thing thats as bad as 20 cigarettes: one single joint. Can anybody explain me the use of it? And, what’s so great about poisoning yourself with magic mushrooms? Not many of you won’t probably believe me on this quest, but I never smoked one single cigarette, one single joint or tried one single magic mushroom, XTC pill, cocaine shot or whatever. And about alcohol – I’m totally sXe... when you drink it you can’t stop at one or two... can you? And its just that after then, it isn’t innocent and a little healthy anymore, but it becomes poisonous. But then again, it’s soooo cool to be drunk and to make a fool out of yourself, right? Not for me anymore. I love life, so I stay away from all the poisons in life. By the way, I am not one of those extremists who is walking with X-marks on their bodyparts to show everybody that he/she is sXe... Starting to doubt that you love your own life now too? You can’t live life if you don’t love life. You can’t love life if you don’t respect life. You can’t respect life if you keep on destroying it.
In our society, animals are considered resources, or goods available for human use. Rarely do we give any thought to the suffering of animals, or reflect on our attitudes towards them. While we show some concern for certain animals (such as dogs, cats, and some wild creatures), most others are treated with total disregard. But an animal need not be "cute" or human-like to have the ability to feel. A trout, a pig, a chicken, a frog or a lobster all have the capacity for experiencing joy or suffering pain or distress. Their lives matter to them as much as our lives do to us, and they will defend themselves if they can. Whether someone is male or female; black, white or green; has two legs or four; swims, flies or walks, is irrelevant when it comes to the consideration we owe them all. Likewise, how "intelligent" someone is should not affect our moral decisions, as this is not what determines her or his ability to feel. The fact that a young baby, a cow or a person with a severe mental disability is not able to read philosophy, do mathematical calculations or make moral judgements does not mean that their interests are any less relevant. What matters is that all of them know pain and pleasure. Only our interests can determine what rights we should have. Disregarding the interests of animals It is important to keep in mind that the situations in which animals' interests are frustrated don't constitute particular cases of unrelated abuse. Rather, they arise from a general attitude toward non-human animals prevalent in society today, namely, what is called speciesism. This term, coined some thirty years ago, means arbitrary discrimination against individuals based simply on the species to which they belong. This prejudice against other animals overlooks the fact that they, like humans, are beings with the capacity to experience suffering and joy, as they too have nervous systems. Sometimes it is claimed that other capacities are what matter, capacities such as the use of language and other "intellectual" activities. But if this were so, it would also mean that only certain humans matter. Some people, such as the mentally impaired or the newborn, would fall outside the scope of moral concern, as they don't meet those criteria. However, this is something most of us find unacceptable, and, as we have already seen, so-called intelligence in no way affects one's sentience. This is why the needs and interests of animals must be taken fully into account - including their interest in living - without this consideration being reduced to worrying only about some limited aspects of their welfare. An animals' right to life. It is sometimes argued that concern for animals does not necessarily entail concern for their lives. This is said as a justification for exploiting them, provided that a minimum of suffering is caused. But adopting such a position, apart from the practical difficulty of exploiting and killing someone without causing suffering, neglects the fundamental importance life has for animals. All animals who have the capacity for enjoyment have an interest in living. The reason for this is simple - once we are dead, nothing good can happen to us any more, any possibility for further enjoyment disappears. Death is not harmful in that it is an unpleasant condition, because once dead we stop having any sensations. Death is harmful because it rules out any further possibility of positive experiences. This is why animals have an interest in living. In fact, animals, in normal situations, endure considerable amounts of pain in order to stay alive. All sentient beings should have the right to live, and to do so in liberty and without suffering inflicted upon them. To achieve this, we must begin by abandoning the view that animals are resources intended for human ends. Where does this lead us? Using animals causes them suffering and death, and is therefore unjustifiable. Regulating this exploitation won't make any significant difference, and will only reinforce the idea that using animals is, in fact, right. The only solution is to give up treating animals as things from which humans can benefit and to establish legal rights that will safeguard their interests. We can all make a great difference by changing aspects of our lifestyle that involve the use of animals, as this will spare countless animals from suffering and death.
I believe in equalty. No matter if you’re black, white, yellow, Muslim, Christian or Jewish, everybody is equal in my opinion. Capitalism is a bad system, in where equalty doesn’t exist. The right of freedom we claim to have means that we have the right to pay for everything nature provides us naturally to survive. We have the right to lose our houses if we get depressed after we lose our families in a carcrash, while sereal killers and child molestors get 3 meals a day in jail. A mother that has 3 children and got dumped by her husband has the right to recieve a minimum amount of money to try to survive. In stead of beeing materialistic, I prefer creating a community. People that are born with a retardation or with a physical handicap are not lesser people than us. In Europe and the U.S.A. we mostly live in self-proclaimed democratic systems. Liberalism and capitalism rule our economies and lives, and not only ours – as well the many lives and economies of the African people that suffer from our exploitation. People with cash have the power and will be taken care of, the poor majority can rot and die. Some small explanations and my opinions on certain terms: Capitalism / Free Market As already stated before; when you have the money you have the power. When you are born in the ghetto, nobody cares about you. Why is someones life less worthy than the life of another human beeing, just because he is born at the other side of the road? The free market economy only gives importance to the people that have the cash. If you cannot pay your appartment anymore because of your low-payed job, nobody would give a damn. Not everyone believes that a free or even a relatively-free market is a good thing.... One reason proffered by many to justify economic intervention by government into what would otherwise be a free market is market failure. A market failure is a case in which a market fails to efficiently provide or allocate goods and services (for example, a failure to allocate goods in ways some see as socially or morally preferable). Some believe that the lack of "perfect information" or "perfect competition" in a free market is grounds for government intervention. Other situations or activities often perceived as problems with a free market may appear, such as monopolies, monopsonies, information inequalities (e.g. insider trading, or price gouging). Thus, also many supporters of capitalism support certain regulations of the market, for example anti-trust legislation. Wages determined by a free market mechanism are also commonly seen as a problem by those who would claim that some wages are unjustifiably low or unjustifiably high. Another critique is that free markets usually fail to deal with the problem of externalities, where an action by an agent positively or negatively affects another agent without any compensation taking place. The most widely known externality is pollution. More generally, the free market allocation of resources in areas such as health care, unemployment, wealth inequality, and education are considered market failures by some. Also, governments overseeing economies typically labeled as capitalist have been known to set mandatory price floors or price ceilings at times, thereby interfering with the free market mechanism. This usually occurred either in times of crises, or relating to goods and services which were viewed as strategically important. Electricity, for example, is a good that was or is subject to price ceilings in many countries. Some economists have analysed market failures, and see governments as having a legitimate role as mitigators of these failures, for example through regulation and compensation schemes. It is reasonable to expect that some disparity in wealth and income among individuals would exist in a capitalist system as this is determined through market forces rather than by centralized governmental authority. Some view a significant disparity and concentration of wealth to be a problem and that such is endemic to capitalism, while others do not have such egalitarian concerns. Some opponents of capitalism assert that there should be no inequality in wealth and earnings among individuals commensurate to their inheritance, skills, abilities or efforts. Defenders of capitalism respond that since free market capitalism distributes wealth and earnings among individuals commensurate to their inheritance, skills, abilities and efforts, it provides inherent incentives for human beings to hone their skills, improve their abilities, and make strong efforts to meet the needs of each other, incentives that are missing or significantly less present in any other type of economic/political system. Socialism argues for collective control of the economy, which may or may not be associated with democratic control by the people over the state (there are both democratic and undemocratic philosophies which call themselves socialist). In addition, socialism advocates some degree (depending on the type of socialism) of economic equality and the eradication of poverty and unemployment. Ecofeminists criticise capitalism for defining the natural world as simply a body of resources to be exploited and reshaped to serve human purposes and interests. They also see it as inherently snapping the relationship between humans to one another and to the natural world. Ecofeminists see capitalism as a patriarchal construction "based on the colonization of women, nature, and other peoples." Religions like the Islam and Judaism as well strongly criticise capitalism, since they forbid lending money on interest. Karl Marx saw the existence of capital as the source of social ills. A good example of capitalism going all wrong is Russia. The communist system was far from perfect, but at least people had enough food on their tables. When capitalism came in, things changed drastically. Now there are a few oil billionaires (nine out of ten are close friends to Putin), while the people in Siberia have no electricity, food and drinks. How happy would you be in that situation? When it comes to free market policies, we seem to be losing it in The Netherlands too. Not too long ago, the energy market turned into a free market one. And we’re very proud on that, but why? We can pick Essent, Nuon, Eneco, NEM, etc., which gives us the freedom to read their 83495439 brochures before we pick one, and 9 out of 10 times it gives you problems the first few months. I mean, call me a retard, but I just want...electricity! I want to be able to plug-in my computer, and that it works properly then. Why should I need to choose out of zillions of low budget companies, that most probably exploit many people? Liberalism The beauty of liberalism makes the rich people more rich and the unwealthy ones even poorer. No matter how you take it, but the longer people believe in these contradictions, the sooner they start seeing poor people (and yes, most immigrants are people with hard working jobs that need to struggle to stay alive as well) as lesser, which easely leads to fascism. Collectivist opponents of liberalism reject its emphasis on individual rights, and instead emphasize the collective or the community to a degree where the rights of the individual are either diminished or abolished. Collectivism can be found both to the right and to the left of liberalism. On the left, the collective that tends to be enhanced is the state, often in the form of state socialism. On the right, conservative and religious opponents argue that individual freedom in the non-economic sphere can lead to indifference, selfishness, and immorality. The liberal answer to this is that it is not the purpose of the law to legislate morality, but to protect the citizen from harm. However, conservatives often see the legislation of morality as an essential aspect of protecting citizens from harm. Globalization / Imperialism Maybe the worst terms of them all. Small independent companies are being replaced by multinational greedy low price corporations. Everyone has to bow down to the iron hand of imperialism and suffer under capitalism. It is no longer easy for independent tradesmen to run their own businesses, because everything they do or try to achieve won’t pay off. Multinational corporations find all the manpower they need in Third World and development-countries, underpaid workers and children. Humans, animals and nature are being pushed to the limit in order to maintain low costs and high profit. Hundreds of countries are exploited just for our own goods, while we are able to manage everything ourselves perfectly. Nothing justifies this system. Stop buying their products, stop supporting their shops. Nobody should be able to earn money on others misery. Free competition is the basic feature of capitalism, and of commodity production generally; monopoly is the exact opposite of free competition, but we have seen the latter being transformed into monopoly before our eyes, creating large-scale industry and forcing out small industry, replacing large-scale by still larger-scale industry, and carrying concentration of production and capital to the point where out of it has grown and is growing monopoly: cartels, syndicates and trusts, and merging with them, the capital of a dozen or so banks, which manipulate thousands of millions. At the same time the monopolies, which have grown out of free competition, do not eliminate the latter, but exist above it and alongside it, and thereby give rise to a number of very acute, intense antagonisms, frictions and conflicts. Monopoly is the transition from capitalism to a higher system. In his essay, Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism, Vladimir Lenin advanced the now widespread thesis that the ‘New Imperialism’ of the late 19th and early 20th centuries was an inevitable correlary of monopoly capitalism. According to Lenin, the export of financial capital superseded the export of commodities; banking and industrial capital merged to form large financial cartels and trusts in which production distribution are highly centralized; and monopoly capitalists influenced state policy to carve up the world into spheres of interest (Burnham). These trends led states to defend their capitalist interests abroad through military power. ”Freedom of Speech” One of the main things that pro-capitalist people are proud of. My question is; do you really believe we have freedom of speech in our society? To a certain edge, yes... but on the other hand, why does censorship exists? No matter where you look, everywhere you’re just mentioned as a number. A number that can say that the government sucks (only to a certain edge), but who gets censored if he gets too harsh. Within the freedom of speech society we have secret operations by secret governmental services. We have surveillance cameras everywhere, to promote our “freedom”. Freedom of Speech also has many downsides. It allows us to say what we want, no matter if it hurts people or not – you can say it if you want. If you call all Muslims goat-fuckers you got the right to do so, because it’s freedom of speech. Is that something to be proud of? Is it more important to respect eachother and to show solidarity, or is it more important to be able to call everybody whatever you want? Freedom of speech includes the right to start any radical organisation you want to. If you feel like creating another parody on the Scientology church, you’ll get all the freedom you desire. Make it as bad as you want. Besides this, the people forget the price they’re paying for this so-called “freedom of speech”. Capitalism is based on materialism and money, while socialism is based on solidarity. In a capitalist state, we have the right to get fired from low-paid jobs and to lose our homes and to not be able to feed our kids anymore, while nobody would even look after you. In exchange for this, you have the right to say that the government is beeing sucky. Many socialist states (mostly the more traditional ones) have less freedom of speech, but at least you are certain that you will be able to get a decent meal for you and your family each day. That nobody would kick you out of your house if you lost your job. Besides, many of the more modern socialist states do include freedom of speech and freedom of expression, and in many occasions even more of it than in so-called democratic states. Some great examples are the recent elections in Russia – a so-called democratic state – that were dominated by violence against the opposition. Venezuela used to be named as a democratic state by the USA and European media, but the truth was that the government controlled everything and nothing, and that the poor majority had to struggle each and every single day to be able to get a dry piece of bread on the table. Socialism In some Latin American countries, socialism has re-emerged in recent years, with an anti-imperialist stance, the rejection of the policies of neo-liberalism and the nationalisation or part nationalisation of oil production, land and other assets. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and Bolivian President Evo Morales, for instance, refer to their political programs as socialist. Chávez has coined the term "21st century socialism" (sometimes translated more literally as "Socialism of the 21st century"). After winning re-election in December 2006, President Chávez said, "Now more than ever, I am obliged to move Venezuela's path towards socialism." In many South-American countries, there are left-winged revolutions going on currently. Some of the most known examples: Hugo Rafael Chávez Frias (Venezuela) Juan Evo Morales Ayma (Bolivia) Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (Argentina) José Daniel Ortega Saavedra (Nicaragua)
Socialism of the 21st century is a political term and slogan, supposed to describe new forms of socialism in the 21st century. According to his own words, Heinz Dieterich has developed his concept of the Socialism of the 21st century in 1996, and has publicised it worldwide since 2000, especially in South America. Dieterich is considered the (informal) advisor of the bolivarian development process, executed by Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez. According to Dieterich, neither the “industrial capitalism” nor the “historical really existing socialism” has managed “to solve the urgent problems of humanity, like poverty, hunger, exploitation, oppression of economical, sexist and racist nature, the destruction of natural resources of life, and the absence of a really participative democracy.” Dieterich demands the “construction of four basic institutions of the new reality of the post capitalist civilisation, namely: 1- the equivalence economy that is based on use value and the value theory, not-market-economical, and democraticly determined by those who directly create value; 2- the majority democracy which uses the plebiscite in the case of important questions that concern the whole society; 3- the basis democracy based state as a representant of the common interests with a suitable minority protection; 4- the critical and responsible subject, the rationally, ethically and aesthetically self-determined citizen.” This were the “basic institutionality that showed the historical project of Marx and Engels its startegical direction.” As the existing society should be replaced by a “qualitatively different (system contrary) one, “the program of the socialism of the 21st century is a necessarily revolutionary one.” The fact is – this system is really working. Venezuela is the most known example (the poor people have enough food on the tables, there is a lot of solidarity among the people and the economy isn’t based on child labour and exploitation of the Third World). As well in Argentina, this system really saved the day. Nestor (Cristina’s husband) was democratically elected in 2003, and managed to break down the economical resession that years of liberal ruling had caused. He brought back the hope and solidarity in Argentina, and now his wife is continuing this path with good efforts. To the people that will consider me a communist now – read it all over again. The Communist system is probably the best in theory, but doesn’t work in reality, with China as the unfortunately best example. If you don’t seem to know the difference between communism and socialism/Marxism – don’t bother me at all before you did some research, this article is already way too long now to explain that as well. Imagine reaching for an apple on a tree ...and having your hand suddenly impaled by a metal hook that drags you. The whole weight of your body pulling on that single hand. Until you're out of the air ...and dragged into an atmosphere where you can't breathe anymore. Does this sound rude to you? Does this sound like torture to you? This is exactly what fish experience while they're hooked. Hooked because humanity wants to be able to eat a trout. Hooked because fishing is considered a 'sport', and sometimes even a 'tradition'. Hooked for fun and entertainment. What on Earth gave you the right? - - - It's a place with a facist society. It's a place with fucking ideologies. Nazis and facists. Over there, immigrants are less worthy. Muslims are all criminals. And so are the fucking Antillian niggers. Handicapped people are a waste of sperm and money. People who fight for animal rights are terrorists. Homeless people are all junks and a disgrace to space. What makes you think you're better than them? From the outside, The Netherlands looks like an open minded and tolerant country. But inside the people's head reigns a facist regime. - - - There are about 3000 homeless people in Amsterdam these days. Over 20% of them are female. Most of them used to have normal lives like you and me. With roofs over their head. Decent food each day. Jobs. And families. A divorce, losing your job or an equal crisis in a persons life may lead to an eviction from your home. Suddenly you have no money or security, and your friends and family have dumped you like a trash can. It´s easy to get there, but very hard to leave. Kicked out of the Central Station at night, when they try to get an overnight when it's raining outside. Preached by a police officer when they ask tourists for a little money to buy some dry bread and water. Getting yelled at by people of our ages when they ask for some food ("Go and find a job you lazy fuck!"). They are the forgotten parts of humanity these days. Maybe we should take more care of them, in stead of opening another new coffeshop on the street corner.
