. "Erikka, you'd be a full bodied red, lingering after taste that makes you want more. Good with most things, brilliant at barbeques." -Alex, talking about what kind of wine I'd be. <3 About me: My name's Erikka, I go by Carsa online, but I respond to either, or just Ikk. You can see how old I am and what I look like. I think I can be too vain for my own good, but I'm mostly happy with who I am. I don't take well to stress, and a lot of things in the world cause stress. Composure is a beautiful mask to hide behind, in this wonderful time, emerging from the teen years into the world of the adult. So much confusion and passing teenage angst. I think I have a decent view of the broader spectrum, so I know everything will fall into place eventually. Sewing: I love making anything really, but I enjoy formal wear most. I wish I had a teacher still, but alas, there's no classes offered anywhere here for me. I love making coats. I love making corsets. I love the way they feel, I love the security, I love the way they're wrapped tight around you. I love designing new things, I love making things. It's a pity I think I'll probably never get anywhere. That said, I came third in my category in a competition in September '05, which was a decent start, since I've only been sewing since the beginning of '04. Starting early, I'll make more entries in that competition this year. The Move: At the beginning of '05 I moved from our nations capital, Canberra, up to Bundaberg. At first I didn't care much for the climate, the small town atmosphere, the cane burning season, the lack of things to do and places to go, or the lack of people I have something in common with. But I just stuck with it, finished school, and off to uni in Brisbane I went. I wasn't the end of the world, even if it felt like it sometimes. The past: They really were talking about me behind my back. My paranoia used to be justified. Now it just won't go away. Like a lot of people on here I guess, school was a rough journey. I've dealt with my fair share of idiots and people who can throw things. I've met my fair share of bitchy girls. I've met my fair share of nice girls who turn out to be complete bitches. I've met nice guys who turn out to be complete assholes. I have someone I care about deeply. I've also met a few awesome people in my time. They seem to pass in and out of my life though. <3
Likes:
Likes - The boy I'm somehow going to convince to marry me, Luke.
- Designing clothes.
- Making clothes.
- Cleaning up after people. And cleaning their houses. With permission. That said, I'm not a neat freak or anything, honest. It’s one of my ways of caring I guess.
- Cheerleading. Yep, that's right. I'm a cheerleader. C-H-E-E-R-L-E-A-D-E-R. Go QUT RiverRats!
- Photography. I much prefer digital, partly because I'm lazy, partly because I don't have the money to process or get films processed. I liked black and white printing when I had the opportunity. But I like how easy it is to play around with images and manipulate them digitally. You can make them pretty, you can make them interesting, you can make them all sorts of things. And, you can see what you’ve taken straight away, and take it again when it’s crap. You can take hundreds of photos, and you only end up with the best stuff. And some of my images make me drool. I’m so terribly vain sometimes.
- Dressing up as lots of different things, making costumes, it's quite fun.

Dislikes:
Dislikes - Ex-boyfriends. Whingy buggers.
- Wanker cars.
- I don't like people who don't take the time to type words such as 'you' and 'your'. It's not that hard people! Especially in a profile or on a website.
- Boring lectures/tutes at uni.
- Kids who whinge about stupid things, and kids who have panda eyes done in red eyeshadow.
- Sack dresses.
- When things make me feel helpless, and I know there's nothing I can do, but I don't want to do nothing.
- When things go shitty. Many things. All at once. To myself, or worse, the people who I care about who live too far away for me to feel like I can help much.
- People who are horrible to other people for no good reason. People who let these people get out of control, when there's something they could have done about it.

Favorite Music:
Music Ah..... music... My taste in music is broad, yet narrow, and kinda random. I listen to a host of different genres, but within a lot of genres there only a couple artist/bands that I like. I find people can take musically too seriously, and let it be the basis to judge a person on. I don't like people who make music too political. A person can listen to what they want, and it doesn't matter what you think the music is like, you don't have to tell them how crappy a singer/band is. That said, you have every right to have that opinion. There's just appropriate ways to voice opinions. The stuff I'm mostly listening to at the moment: - Porcelain and the Tramps
- Tokyo Hotel
- The Birthday Massacre
- Darling Violetta
- Massive Attack
- The Cure
- Placebo
- 30 Seconds to Mars
- Freezepop
- Garbage
- The Butterfly Effect
- Random pieces of classical music, I'll try to list some composers later, maybe.
- And probably some other stuff that I'm to lazy to look up in my media player.
