La tee da. I don't do much profile editing, and I'm bad at introductions. I'm Stacey. Refrain from calling me trumpet, please, because I'm not an instrument. I obviously play the trumpet, along with several other instruments(clarinet, oboe, saxaphone, ukulele, piano). It's fairly easy for me to pick up an instrument and learn how to play it fairly competently within a few days(being able to play basic songs). It's a random talent that doesn't do much for me at this point. I currently attend community college as a freshman for an undecided major, in essence to get GEC's out of the way. I eventually hope to find my path somewhere in a field of art, digital design perhaps. I prefer traditional art; sculpture to be specific, but I know that such a field would be nearly impossible to breach and be able to sustain myself, so I'll be looking for work in another field of art that I enjoy. I have done a few commission pieces for people, mainly fan shoes(I am working on two pairs at the moment), and have a few people interested in my sculpture work. I am a huge lover of music - not to say that I can recite band names, participating members, their best albums and songs of those albums - but I couldn't live without music. It moves me emotionally and helps me gain motivation. There is a track for everything and every moment in my life, always changing, equally as beautiful. I like to consider myself fairly intelligent. Not to say that I will be knowledgeable on every subject you may approach me with. Intelligence =/= knowledge. I am incredibly lazy, and a huge procrastinator. I'm nice to everyone I meet unless they give me any reason not to be, but that doesn't mean I will find you interesting enough to really converse with. I do enjoy a bit of trolling occasionally, but not in any severity. /endramble.
Likes
What do I like... well, I like breathing. I like... sleeping, eating, feeling fresh grass between my toes after a long and cold winter. I like holding the hand of a small child or baby, and seeing their smile at the loving feeling. I like piercings, tattoos, individuality. I like drawing, expressing myself, face to face conversations, honesty, respect. I like to walk around during exceptionally harsh storms, swimming in the ocean during hurricanes, and looking up at the night sky when the moon is *not* out. I like people who don't type like idiots, and I like YOU until you give me a reason NOT to. Obviously I can't list every single thing I like or enjoy on here, it's much easier to find those things out by talking to me.
Dislikes
What I don't like... well, for starters I have "Mommy problems", so I don't mind if you stay off that topic. I dislike that people have things difficult but have earned so much better. I dislike those that do nothing but love being hated, discrimination, racism, the way we have treated our planet. I dislike people that say there is no god for no reason, and I dislike people who say that there is only one god and he/she is the right one for no reason. I dislike hypocrisy, and people who think they're better than everyone else. Get off your damned high horse. We are all obviously not the same, but everyone deserves some amount of respect. /endrant(;
Favorite Music
My favorite music rather depends on my current mood / phase. I've gone from listening to classical instrumental music to ska/reggae, and from that to some fluffy pop music, onto Celtic rock, so on and so forth. Right now my music has mostly consisted of what a lot of people have deemed 'hipster' music. I'm not particular about labels, but it's very happy and emotion filled music and I've been needing happy music(Florence + the Machine, Mumford & Sons, Feist, A Wild Sweet Orange, Yael Naim, etc.).
