After 4 self released albums tPROE signed up with USA based label Vendetta music to tighten their grip on the world through the release of the 5th album "Singularity". An album about the coming man-machine civilization, bionics and cyborgs. As usual drowned in the bands utter nihilism and perverted sexual imagery.
tPROE is the main industrial groove machine. Mixing techno, breakbeat and funk with hard hitting rhytmic industrial and powernoise to create industrial funk anthems for a world with blackened skies, huge skyscrapers, technology and ruthless corporations. Layering soundscapes made of static with hard distorted rhytmns and lots of oontz.
Singularity hold 13 tracks mainly aimed at devastating dancefloors and households alike. From minimal industrial clubstompers, to greasy breakbeat, and from head on powernoise to the darkest and bleakest soundscapes. And offcourse the promo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upeVVMl-2QM
Who are we?
The Peoples republic of Europe is a mean funking machine. Incorporating influences from funk and techno in harsch rhytmnic industrial is what they do currently. [KRAT] is making the rusty metallic industrial grooves. [NOIR] is your MC for live performances and sometimes sings a song. Together they slam the pit and bring industrial dancefloors worldwide into a mouthfoaming frenzy. tPROE feels industrial music is all about bootyshaking and making the phattest grooves possible, so no breakcore shizzle for our nizzles.
Well, we used to be militaristic in the past? How did we lose that? Ah well, we are stil nihilistic and misantropic, so this might just fit the description. Anyway: we have a new album out. Hard rhytmnic powernoise to shake yer booty's to, and some soundscapes as well. 1 january will see the release of the new album "Lubrication" from The Peoples Republic of Europe. It holds 13 tracks with lots of hard hitting distorted beats, storms of static and industrial rhytmns. The last year tPROE had some nice breaktrough with the inclusion of the track "Antiglobalist I" on the Extreme sundenfall 4 compilation, and "Monopoly of violence" in an alternative take on the latest Das Bunker compilation "Fear of a distorted planet". Now there is a new album which will durely satisfy people who liked those tracks. Price will be 10 euro's.

Our history
The Peoples Republic of Europe started on the 4th of June 2000, when exploring the posiblities of sound manipulation in Cubase VST 3.5. The first album "Cumulonimbus" was recorded on this day, and the following, and does consist of 6 experimental tracks in a darkambient tradition. One of the songs (Matter antimatter) reached a number one spot in the soundclick.com mp3 list.
After this, work started on a second album. Initially named "The united Soviet states of America". 3 songs were created ,but the project was abandoned due to lack of inspiration. However: new inspiration was found in the rhytmic industrial music put out by the German Ant-zen label. The music from The Peoples Republic of Europe shifted from Darkambient to heavy industrialism, and the second album was completed and released under the name: "Thirst".
Soon The Peoples Republic of Europe started to work on the Third album. A mainly heavy industrial/powernoise album, with still some echo's from the darkambient past. "Steel and honour" was the title of the new album, and shows also the militaristic side of The Peoples Republic of Europe.
In June 2002, The Peoples Republic of Europe became a live performing band with the addition of XLII on percussion. A first short show was played at the finals of the Noord Hollands Glorie band competition in Haarlem. Coming up at a second place, The Peoples Republic of Europe succeeded blasting the place.
After this succes, some more liveshows where played, and work started on the fourth album "Among the ruins" This harsch and agressive CD was released in March 2003, and recieved critical acclaim. The track "Axis of evil" made it into a small clubhit, and more performances were played, with the highpoint being the "Xtreactor festival" at Ekko, Utrecht, on which The Peoples Republic of Europe performed on the same bill as imported influences Winterkalte and Asche.
After this, it was back to work on the fifth album "Juche" which promises to be harscher, and also more experimental and diverse, without losing the harsch dancefloor pit slamming. During this time a new live member was introduced. [NOIR] joins the band on primal screams, chants, dancing and propaganda.
A live show was played with [NOIR] at "De Raad (The Council)" in Alkmaar. This show was recorded on some fine equipment, and released as the live album "The siege of Alkmaar". During this period, The Peoples Republic of Europe appeared on two compilations. On "Lowlands Industrialism" and on "Van Duytschen bloet". In February 2004, "Juche" was finally released. Given the quality of this album, and the warm response of the public of its predecessor "Among the ruins", this piece was released as a real CD, and not as a CDr. A new stage in the history of the Peoples Republic of Europe has begun.
Quite fast after the release of "Juche" tPROE started on the next album. Originally planned as an vinyl EP, the recording session progressed further and further, and led to the second CD release "Monopoly of violence". This album focusses mainly on the dancefloor, without doing concessions to the powernoise and darkambient influences of tPROE. This album also marks a bigger role for vocalist [NOIR]. As for live shows, tPROE progressed as a two man outfit, due to logistic problems with live percussion.
After "Monopoly of violence" and succesfull gigs with the likes of Alec Empire, Winterkalte, Asche, Morgenstern, This morn'omina, Statik sky and Greyhound, tPROE releases their new album "Under stress" in February 2006. This album also got a lot of good critics, and slammed industrial dancefloors worldwide.
Currently tPROE is recording the fourth album called "Lubrication"
