Profile: 09/26/08: After much thought and a bit of recent inspiration, TOP HAT will be taking the leap and recording its first full-length album, SCARAMOUCHE. The album will be heavily influenced by Baroque and Romantic compositions, and the German performer Klaus Nomi. Romanza (Industrial Vers.) will be featured on the album, as well as a reworked version of Afraid of Something. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, Kit Pixley has opted out of the JAIDED project. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.06/05/08: TOP HAT frontman Kit Pixley has hopped on board the JAIDED project as keyboardist and cowriter. Mixing punk ethos, gothic imagery and good old fashioned rock sensibilities, JAIDED is currently gearing up to release its first demo album at the end of summer. Watch for their posters popping up around the Halifax area! 01/10/07: TOP HAT would like to officially announce the release of their sample album, SAMPLER 1.0.
Taking tracks from the next four projected albums, SAMPLER 1.0 spans genres from blues, classical and piano ballad to industrial and techno.
