The Neighbors
Profile: The band started back in April of 04', over at the "previous drummer", mike's house. Kyle had already been playing guitar for a few months and the bass player "wayne", had never played ever before. Anyways, we're all down in mike's basement listening to pearl jam. Kyle brought his guitar over already and started playing along to a song many would know as "Yellow Ledbetter". Mike had several guitars at this time and a bass, "no one said he could play them, he just had them around" no offense mike, but anyway, wayne grabbed the bass and started playing the song with kyle. Right there the band was born. Wayne's birthday was also that april, so about a week later he went out and bought a bass and it seems like he's been playin everyday since then. For the next few weeks they would play out in mikes garage and wayne's mine also. Most of the time we got the cops called because union sucks ass, but it's all good fun I guess. Soon the weeks turned into months and together they were all getting new eqipment, still playing out in the garage almost every weekend. It was probably almost a year later that they had there first gig down town at "The house or brews". They played there about every other weekend for a few months until the place got shut down thanks to good old sammy. They got there name out there a little bit, and got to meet other cool bands like there good fellas from "infamous". After the house of brews thing we then started up with "Dr. Glo" I'm sure alot of locals have heard of him, but yeah, we're currently rockin out with him around the area. Our first venue with him was out at the sheango firehall. That was probly a few months ago somewhere. But that was the band until mid october where we all had some huge argument and ended up losing not only our drummer, but a good friend. Thats a whole other story though. Late Oct. of 05' we picked up a brand new kick ass drummer by the name of jimmy. He was currently in a band that fell apart and we picked him up to carry on "The Neighbors". There's only one word you can say about the kid, "Insane". Wayne and kyle couldn't believe it the first time they saw him play. He blew us both away and from there on till now, we knew that the band was complete.Sounds Like: Blink 182, Nirvana (But mostly Blink)Influences: Blink 182, Green Day, Rise Against, MCR, Ramones, Beetles, Nirvana(R.I.P.
