Profile: Hi, I'm Noom (it's a nickname, sugar). I live in the UK and I'm half Thai - half Zambian. I like correct spelling, the word "bees" and TVRs. I love water, not in the drinking it sense but in the dancing in a sudden summer storm, sparkling melt water fed mountain streams, breakers on a rocky shore, crystal clear lakes with the flash of fish kind of way. I've given up trying to find people "just like me". I'm fairly certain they don't exist; however, I do think there are kindred spirits out there. I have found a couple and they really put the "ee" in "glee" (Which is the best part, obviously, because it's the part that makes your mouth go :D Just like "bees". And so we go full circle...). I'm interested in politics, environmentalism, society and economics. How is it that so much in our society is dominated by 'economics' but so many people know so little about it? The most many people get about economic principles probably comes from business studies classes. Not that I have a particularly high view of traditional economics, but it does contain important principles that everyone should understand.
