I am The Rusted String. I am a one man guitarist/bassist. Most of my work is only guitar/bass, but, every now and then I'll do some vocals. I use an alpine white Ibanez GSA 60, a black Indiana telecastor, and a black Ibanez Mikro bass.
My amps include: a Marshall Valvestate S80
My effects are: a Dunlop Crybaby Wah and a Digitech Death Metal Distortion.
Spices on the Fruits of Labor is not what I typically do since I didn't write the guitar or drums...I did the bass...but I took what sounded good to me and wrote from it. I'm sorry if you dont like it...
I know...I'm not experimental...but some of the future stuff I write will be.
Sounds Like
Most of my guitar work sounds like the rhythm of John5 and Metallica with some broken chords.
Influences
My main influences are John5 and Steve Vai, but, i draw a lot of what i play from what i hear: Saliva, Evanescence, Jimi Hendrix, and Murderdolls.
