no one had any idea what was unleashed upon the world with the creation of it-clings. the very idea seemed insane, and to be perfectly honest, people couldn't understand it all at first, but now there is no denying that rock n' roll supergod it-clings, king of the jews, saviour of all mankind -- as he has become known to a million screaming teenage girl fans -- is the ultimate phenomenon. and despite all the lies that the mainstream media have not been spreading about him, it-clings has become the driving force behind the world, and at the same time its biggest critic.

it-clings is like the hottest new blockbuster, the latest internet trend, a new fad diet, and half a dozen apocalyptic cult leaders all wrapped in some big stars vagina, shoved into a gold tipped silver bullet and shot down the large hadron collider toward destiny.

it-clings began April 12th, 2003, even though no one knew it at the time. Squid was spurred into a tediously long, angry rant by Pneumatic Detach on the final night of the Saturation Bombing 2 concert series. Squid's foul-mouthed aggression and hostility impressed Pneumatic Detach's Justin Brink so much that he invited Squid to write and perform a rant with Pneumatic Detach at the next Rhode Island Noise Festival, slated for August 21st, 2004. The text was written and hopes were high, however its brilliant, subtle cruelty humour and wit were lost due to an incredibly poor and drunken performance by Squid. Not one to let such shame and humiliation get him down, Squid redoubled his efforts and made his debut performance as it-clings, with pneumatic detach, at Montreal's C.O.M.A 2 festival. Its reception, combined with the absence of people yelling “get off the stage” made up for the past indiscretion.

after a pile of guest appearances on albums, including Pneumatic Detach's critically acclaimed "vis.cer.a" and Fractured DAC charting "Only Human Remains" it-clings teamed up with Pneumatic Detach for a full length release, the brilliant concept album "the all too logical descent into madness" released on april 10th, 2007 on Squid's own Bugs Crawling out of People label. This album is quite possibly the angriest album ever made.

On June 18th, 2009, it-clings released the bootleg CD release "Fuck it All" which features all the tracks he's done with other artists all on one re-edited and remastered CD, answering the ever growing demand "why the fuck should I buy a bunch of crappy fucking cds by talentless hacks just to get my hands on the latest it-clings track! this is total fucking bullshit"

This set the stage for the release of it-clings' third cd 'i'm the biggest fucking thing in the world fucking world' to be releasd fall 2010 from Bugs Crawling out of People. an album he never wanted to write, but felt compelled to confess. yes, it's all true!
