My name is Alan, I live in a small town in Scotland, miles away from 'civilization' (by which I mean good bars and music venues). It's quite tough sometimes, I don't have any friends here. People in small towns always seem to be completely alike to everyone else in that town, people look at me like I have escaped from a mental hospital just because of the way I dress or the metal in my face.

I have quite a few totally unrelated hobbies.I juggle (clubs and balls),I play bass guitar (badly), I enjoy cooking, I play chess, I brew more homemade wine than it is physically possible for me to consume and stop/start smoking at least 10 times a year. (Currently been stoped 3 months though and think that this time it may be for good!)
