More, huh? Sooo, my name is Noukka Signe. I'm an eighteen year-old girl from the Netherlands. I've studied Media and Culture from Sep '10 to Jan '11 but quit because I find it too theoretical for me. Next year I'll hopefully be doing Communication & Media Design.
I've been photographing for 5 years, and have (sort of) always been interested in the design of magazines, websites, books, etc. Hopefully I can fill the world with more good-looking and functional designs. (Ever noticed all the horribly designed websites? Especially official ones? Ugh! And it's a mission to find anything on those sites!). Sorry I'm rambling... Anyway, I love doing something creative, even drawing although I draw worse than my 3 year-old nephew. He's my little sunshine and my sisters are my brightest stars and my friends mean the world to me. I'm lucky I have so many amazing people in my life.
I tend to be in my own head a lot, one of the reasons why I like to read. A good book, to me, creates a new world. One that I can hide in for a while, and pretend it's my world and live the story of the protagonist. This doesn't mean it has to be fiction, nor does it mean it has to be realistic. I guess it means it needs to be consistent and interesting. And has to have "." around the thing they say, otherwise I read it as silence, and have you ever experienced how annoying a silent book is? The Road, for example, a beautiful story, a lovely ending, interesting characters, but no "s and it's exhausting for me to read. Just like italic being whispering to me, bold is strong, forceful, AND CAPS ALWAYS MAKES MY THOUGHTS YELL AT ME. I have no idea why makeup has so much influence on me...
As you notice, I tend to ramble a bit, so I'll just shut up now and just talk to me if you want more of my rambling. I am a bit shy though, and half of the time not sure what or how to answer, so it can take a while... sorry about that...
