The music of Sick with Silence demands you to listen. Storming guitars and pounding rhythms are complemented with spellbinding electronics; gelled together by lyrics of love, madness, fury and sickness. The vocals will take you from the verge of tears to screams of fury from one moment to the next.
Sick with Silence started in 2007 and is the brainchild of Belfast musician Tom Gribben (formally of The October Connection and Catalyst). Originally intended as a side project of The October Connection, it became Tom's sole musical output when the band disbanded in mid 2007.
Since then Sick with Silence has produced three EPs (The Modern Art of Making Enemies, Ctrl, The Gold), an Album ( Ctrl,Alt,Delete) and have also put their own spin on the Peggy Lee song "Fever". In December 2010 Sick with Silence released the EP "The Gold" which received an excellent reception. "Heavy, melodic, unique...These guys stand a real chance of being massive providing they continue on this route as even now I wouldn’t be surprised to hear their music playing along side big names at a festival." : Loud-Stuff.com
With influences ranging from Industrial Rock and Alternative Metal, to Drum n Bass and Electronica, Sick with Silence creates a sound they can truly call their own.
With live shows planned for the near future, this can only add an exciting new element to Sick with Silence.
