Profile: Shadowplay was founded by singer, songwriter J.Williams. Shadowplay's music is a mix of Rock,Alternative Rock, Industrial and Metal. Shadowplay released its first full length album Asylum's End in late 2007 the lineup included J.Williams-Vocals Tim Thompson-Lead Guitar Kurt Dellinger-Drums Ace Letterman-Guitar Vito Grant-Bass. Asylums End was a mix of Metal music melodic vocals and Gothic overtones. This gave Shadowplay a signature sound in a time when most Hard Rock acts all sounded the same and followed the same formula. Many shows followed and Shadowplay proved itself to be a hard act to follow and a driving force on the live music circuit and grew to have quite a following. After two years members of the then lineup started going their separate ways but J determined to not let his vision for Shadowplay die started writing and recording new music for the upcoming album Burnt Paradise. Burnt Paradise is J. playing all the instruments and singing along with Kevin Watson on drums. The new album which could be described as having more of a Hard Rock Alternative Industrial sound than its predecessor Asylums End is due out April 10th 2010.
