this is my latest poem... I find myself walking down that road The one these feet seem to know, All far to well. I know what awaits me if I fall. It’s the same every time I walk this path, Yet I can’t help my self.
Your smile, your voice, Those words you say to me Gives me the strength to carry on.
This path I walk is the one I dream of, The one with eternal bliss and happiness Awaiting at the end.
This path leads strait to you, Into your open arms Where my real home is.

My first thought is of you To get my hands around you again. To hear your voice surround me, Your body melded to my own
As I pull the heart strings one by one The music for all to hear sings out Bringing a smile to my face, A silent tear of joy to my cheek.
To have you with me forever is my only desire To play, to enjoy, to love, you and only you No other is as beautiful, No other has my heart the way you do.
In your wooden body you hold my heart Trapped within never to be free, I know you will never let me go, My one, my only, my first, my last.

Looking at the silver moon Through the fogged up glass With only one imprint left Of your hand upon the glass
The memories of your presence here Filling my room and my heart Your hand print on the glass Like your hand print on my heart
The stars lighting up each mark Casting shadows across my room Like the shadows across my heart That only grows with your absence
But with you gone There is only the echo of you Just a ghost of what was Till that time I see you again
