*SCABPOET* (Stimulation on Canvas) was created in hopes of sharing my abstract vision and style of art with the world.
- Originally from Long Island, my mother (who is also an artist, as well as my grandfather) taught me how to paint with oils when I was 6 years old. Although my young mind could only understand smearing and squishing the paints around on canvas, I always enjoyed mixing the many different colors and creating different shapes with each finger.
- As I became older my interest for painting and other variations of art grew.
- After graduating from high school in Manhattan, I immediately started my Fine Arts degree in College studying everything from cartooning and drawing to painting and creating collages.
- After my first year I grew impatient with my classes because I felt that my artistic ability had matured far beyond what I was being taught.
And here I am today…….
WHERE CAN YOU BUY SCAB POET PAINTINGS: I will be show-casing and selling my work at a monthly event called Cybertron, - (http://vampirefreaks.com/event/cybertron) - as well as other VF and Audiolust gatherings. Locations and dates are always to be announced before hand, as well as painting prices.
EXTRA INFO: I truly love collaborating with musical talents. Occasionally, fan art is made and then signed by Cybertron's musical guests. These items make wonderful memorabilia for Cybertron parties, shows, and other events.
