::::::::::About me ::::::: At this point in my life im living in Brighton and studying in my third and final year of a BA Hons in Editorial Photography at The University of Brighton. Im an old VF chat member and Aop.. Ive played the vf profiles game years back when it began.. ive been top girl for weeks in a row and it was rather surreal..i dont think physical appearance means much as its the most fleeting thing, id much rather be clever thank you. so yes my rating are off and i wont be rating anyone either. I vanished from vf chat 2 years ago and my profile went with it but im semi around again ^_^ Oh DONT ADD ME if you dont know me please.. im not here for networking! just for finding my old chat regs again and making sure no-one takes my old nick. I dont like the appathy i see within my own generation. lazy people piss me off...along with all those who have high 'opinions' but wont get off their sofa to stand up for what they believe in. I cant stand hearing properganda and false statitics so i try not to watch the main-stream news... and all the 'news' i do read i try to question as much as possible. As far as im concerned the truth is everything..truth is all we have. I am very political..i dont mean to be i just cant help it. blame my parents they 'accidentally' taught me to think for myself. I think learning and seeking out the truth is the most vital thing in our lives. whatever that truth may be. personally i try never to allow my opinions to be set in stone and i try to question myself and my motives as much as i can. My lifes my own personal patch-work quilt of experiences, mistakes, sucesses and lessons and i wouldnt give it up stitching it for the world. Im an artist at heart, i love to paint, draw, sketch, illustrate, screen print and i see photography as just another tool to try and convey whats going on both inside my head and outside it. I spend alot of my time working at http://www.cybercandy.co.uk 's brighton branch. Its a great little job and im very lucky. When im not there, and not trying to feign interest in university you'll probably find me pottering around my seafront flat, cuddled up to my boyfriend mr-dave or reading, drawing or trying to work out how exactly i have broken my camera this time... occasionally il leave the flat lol and you'll find me clubbing with my mates or at a gig.. im not the sort of student thats always out getting shit-faced.. im a little more dull than that. plus i have to work to pay my rent so i cant afford/want to behave like my peers. when i am out clubbing you cant miss me.. im always the most over-dressed person in any club in brighton lol... just because everyone else wants to wear dull jeans doesnt mean i have to! br> As a photographer i love to work with big ideas where i can actually use my creative skills. Im one of the many young fashion-aspring photographers that dislike the rather distorted expectations that have been put on women as a result of the industry. im trying my best to make sure i dont make this any worse by glorifying a unhealthy body image..wether that be over-skinny models or overweight models.if i use them its to make a point..as although i dont think its a good idea to broadcast images if toast-rack women..i also think its prehaps even more dangerous for us to feel that being over weight and unhealthy is any better Im lucky to have some fanastic friends, great flatmates and a really supportive family to boot. hopefully they balance out my ranting, over-passionate, over opinionated, stubborn, neurotic and jaded aspects!
