About Me
| Well let’s see here…my name is Emmanuel. Or Manny. Take your pick. I live in Connecticut. It’s not too bad. Not too great either. I’ve graduated college with an Associate Degree of Biblical Studies which means yes I am a Christian. Deal with it. I know not everyone agrees with me. That’s cool. Just don’t be ignorant. Please. No sexual comments. I like comments, but normal comments with personality. I like all sorts of everythings. I don’t watch a lot of t.v. but I enjoy a variety of movies. Anything from Disney to cheesy zombie movies works. I listen to all kinds of music. The only things I don’t listen to are emo and screamo. I like rap. I like pop. As a musician I give anything a chance. Oh, and I do listen to things like Dimmu, NIN, Manson, and other variety that would make a preacher cry. It’s not about the lyrics. It’s about the band for me. Currently I am getting into symphonic and pagan metal. One of my favorite bands is Nightwish. With or without Tarja. They’re phenomenal. Toumas is genius. It is so much more epic than American music. And it is so much more personal. There is no shame. Plus it’s easy to groove to. I.E. Korpiklaani. I love to play guitar. I am not the greatest, but I ain’t half bad neither. I can play bass but I’m not a bassist. And I can play a wee bit of drums, a wee’er bit o violin and about 2 notes on the piano.. Speaking of, I’ve got an acoustic myspace if you get bored. It’s www.myspace.com/mannygoneacoustic . I’m not some indie kid. I just like acoustic guitars. I am tattooed and pierced. I also have a fascination with pirates! Slowly but surely I am developing a costume. :] it was movie inspired yes, but I’ve been doin’ the pirate thing since I was a kid. I had to suffer a real eye patch as a young lad for years. They fascinate me. They are outspoken. They are skilled. They are free. |

| I love Christ. My family and friends mean the world to me. We have bonds that cannot be broken. Music is the passion of my life. It is an escape from reality. How often do we sit and listen to the sounds? I find myself fighting a war with Blind Guardian or Amon Amarth, wandering the forest with Nightwish, or even having a beer with Korpiklaani. I am addicted to body art. It is the ultimate form of expression. Dark art is also a hobby of mine. People always wonder when they walk into my room. Pirate life and the coast in general are of my biggest influences. I love swimming in the ocean. Watching the sun set and rise over the vast reaches of waves. Lastly, I enjoy traveling. I want to wander all over northern Europe and explore the different cultures. |

| People who just message me and say "OMG your hot" and that mindless garbage. i do appreciate comments, quite alot actually. just when they have a foundation or base... personality maybe. oh, and narrowminded. I cannot stand people who wont give me the time of day cause i said i believe in God... and they say i am ignorant. i also dont like those who force religion on others. ill gladly talk about it and debate on it, but i wont ever hate someone cause they have a different belief. i DESPISE "emo" music. and rainbows. alot of snow. coffee. and bad cheeseburgers... the last being a tragedy. racists are just simpleminded. ---IMPORTANT NOTE--- just because I believe in God does not mean I am a homophobe. I do NOT hate gays. I don’t agree with it but it’s not my choice. It’s yours. I have a gay cousin and I love him dearly. what else....i hate when my strings break or my amp fails me. and i hate heartache. to say i have been in love, i don't know, but i have been through loss. i hate when i go to gauge my ears bigger and all they do is bleed. i need patience. i hate depression at bad timing. The problem itself isn’t bad. Only when it happens when things go right. i hate when I’m in a room all day and the air gets all nasty too. ugh. i hate that i said "hate" so many times. i need a bigger vocabulary. |
