In 2006, Michael Kurt started the concept of [product]. Dealing with abandonment, disorder, and the greed of society; [product] was always about out-letting general anguish on the nature of the human race. 2007 saw the full effect that was the [product] live performance- aggressive and raw. After playing a number of shows, Michael decided to drop his live vocalist and take on the role himself, become the sole member of [product]. [product]'s first demo, 'Placement,' was released in August of 2008 to a very receptive audience. More local shows followed that year. January 2009, [product] went on their first out of state venture to play Exposure in Washington DC, as well as Stimulate at the Crash Mansion in New York. Taking his new experience, Michael went back in the studio to work on the follow up to 'Placement,' called 'Reassignment,' which is set to release in late June, 2009. In May, 'Mechanical Fear,' one of the more aggressive songs on 'Reassignment,' was premiered at The Hive in Portland by DJ Brian Backlash. On top of preparing for the release, [product] has also adopted live keyboardist Levi to add to the live arsenal. July 2009 will see [product]'s first run of merchandise- including shirts, stickers, and buttons. Continually adding to the [product] world, both in quality and experience, Michael still portrays the concept of what the project really is, aggression.
