Hey everyone, I'm . I'm a 21 year old psychology graduate from Northern Ireland.
A few things about Northern Ireland before I continue: 1.Being from Northern Ireland means I am British NOT Irish. 2.Contrary to popular belief we do not live in a war zone. 3.The people here are really friendly. 4.The weather is ALWAYS shit and there is nothing to do.
Moving on, personality wise I'm friendly. I've been told I come across warm and easy to talk to. I've also (in my opinion) got a good sense of humour, it's quite a dry/sarky/witty humour though so I have to be careful not to be offensive. I'm by and large a good girl, though there is a rebelious streak inside of me. I've always managed to subtley push boundaries to try and experiment and explore myself and the world around me, without the expense of hurting others. I don't hate authority, I'm not an anarchist, but I do believe in my right to experience and live-otherwise what are we here for? I'm very open minded, and will give everyone a chance, I consciously try not to judge a book by its cover. I'm a bit of a thrill seeker and will give everything a try once. I like to be able to say I've done things so that I can give an informed opinion. I have no patience whatsoever. Be that waiting for my computer to load, waiting in a queue, waiting for someone to tell me something, anything you can think of, my tolerance level for that sort of thing is very low, it's probably my biggest shortcoming. I also have a tendency to be very obsessive. If I find a thought/idea/band/game/food that I really like I will cling to it until I absolute exhaust it, then move on to the next thing. It has obvious downsides of getting overfocussed on certain things but it can also come in useful if I need to get a project or something done, once I get started, just try and stop me! I am a perfectionist when it comes to many things but especially myself. I hold myself to ridiculously high standards and belittle things I do achieve, it's very unhealthy and I am learning to change it, because it's not good for self-esteem. It can however come in useful in certain situations like work, where you're obviously rewarded for paying attention and completing things to high standards. I believe in God and I do call myself a Christian, although I do think the Bible, although obviously useful in certain situations, is somewhat outdated and we must be careful with our use of it. But those are just my beliefs and I will be more than tolerant of yours. Please respect mine. I have a beautiful fiancee called Linda. She is my world. She's seen me at my best and my absolute worst and has stuck with me through more than I could ever have deserved. She is my rock and I feel so lucky to call her mine. When someone stands up for what they believe in - strength is an attractive thing Anyone with some depth do them Music Driving - it feels like freedom to me Vampires - cliche as it is I love vampires, I've been completely drawn to and taken in by the concept since I first heard of them. Yes, I even like the sparkly Twilight vamps but, to the fangirls, seriously, the books are good, but they're not THAT good. Sheesh The goth subculture - I'm not really 'goth enough' to be considered a part of the subculture, but I've always found that if I did fit a stereotype it would be the one I identify most with. There is definately beauty in darkness. Sunny warm days make me extremely happy Chocolate. You have no idea how much I love chocolate. It's always a bittersweet relationship though as I feel guilty everytime I eat it. Romance - I'm a hopeless romantic though I don't often show it The colour purple - I've always loved it, any shade. I feel it represents me quite well, although it's not the most stand out colour it doesn't go unnoticed, it's pleasant and calming but yet rather mysterious, like theres a hint of darkness behind it. Theme parks - I can be somewhat of an adrenaline junkie Deep conversation - I love people to pour their hearts out to me I really do, it makes me feel important, and like I'm doing something useful. I'm a sucker for a sob story. Eyes - truely are the windows to the soul Animals - especially dogs!
