Twilight Vision TV 19:
Emilie Autumn

Host: Damiana

Produced, Filmed & Edited by Kevin Rankin

Producer's Notes:

You may have heard of Emilie Autumn from playing violins with Billy Corgan, Courtney Love, or Metalocalypse's Dethklok, but she shines best as a frontwoman for her "Victoriandustrial" music and backing performers The Bloody Crumpets. The new US release of her breakthrough album "Opheliac" and long-awaited book "The Asylum..." brings to life her phantasmagoric world. Emilie Autumn puts on a Broadway-esque production for the rock club audience.

There are a few performers I can relate to here, Ben Moody, Emilie Autumn, and Pete Steele because they all suffereed with Bipolar Disorder Type 2. I am a huge fan of her label mates, Death Doom Metal inspired Dark Metal band, Novembers Doom. I listen to a band that also has the violin as the instrumental part of the band. That band is Earthen Grave.

Emilie is a goddess. I love her, and I'm sure she's inspired and helped so many people with everything she does- her music, theatrics, personality, etc. <3

Yeah, she's one hell of an artist in pretty much just about every way I can think of. And damn she's yummy, its a terrible shame she doesn't like guys. Maybe she's met too many losers? I've known a lot of girls who have gone through that stage where they get sick of guys and move to girls then end up meeting a great guy later down the road.

At any rate... I just might dress up as a chimney sweep if I ever go to one of her concerts. :-D Can't do the british impression though. I've always had a killer crush on this girl. I could easily spend the rest of my life with a woman like that. Eh, I wouldn't have a chance in hell but its a nice thought. :-(

Yay! This turned out so well, and was such a pleasure to be part of.

I am so proud of our work here, and impressed (as always) with Kevin's amazing production and editing work.
