 Hey..... well, I'm terrible at talking about myself and don't think it's at all possible to sum myself up here, but I'll try..... as you can see, I'm from near Arbroath, Scotland. Like most people on VF, I love music(not just listening to it, but looking into the artistic side, when there is one), reading, travelling and photography, as well as meeting new people. But if I were asked what it is I live for, I would answer with two things: nature, and love. I'm about 6'0, with blonde hair and one blue eye, one green. Weird, I know, but I quite like it. Fairly average/slim build. 99.9999% of people would consider me strange, while around 85% would mean it negatively, heh... but, I wouldn't make a big deal about saying I'm unique. I think that everyone is unique, just that some people express, or indeed realise, it more than others. I have an IQ of 140, so I'm quite intelligent without being anything outstanding. I have a DeviantArt, here: http://www.pxe.deviantart.com. I'm not going to do the fake, transparent "I don't care who likes me" routine, because frankly, it's a lie. Not just for me, but for anyone. We all care about what people think of us; why hide it? I'll also admit I have a lot of faults and insecurities, but hey, most people do. I try not to let them get me down much. I'm weird, and probably what most people would consider a 'geek' going by my hobbies etc., but it's by my own choice. I used to live like a typical teenager, going out getting drunk every other night and so on, but now I choose to do the things I enjoy, rather than what is seen by many to be what someone my age should be doing. Most Saturday nights I'll be found alone and/or indoors. And, while some of the more small-minded people of our generation may find it hard to believe, I'm sure I am happier that way than many people who are out drinking themselves stupid in a nightclub with friends. I don't follow a religion, but am not one those atheists that are filled with their own self-importance and look down on those who do. If religion brings a person happiness, then who am I to criticise their faith? Mormonism, for example, is a religion I find absolutely ridiculous, to the point where the story they believe in amuses me greatly. But if it can help improve a persons quality of life, it does more good than bad, right? If you're curious what my username means, p = my name, Paul/Páll, and the 'Xe' comes from sXe/straight edge. Feel free to comment me, especially if it's with something that shows you've actually read my profile rather than glanced at my pictures, and I'll comment back. If you have similar interests to those I list in my likes, then I practically beg you to message me. Heh.... I'm not saying that I don't like the people who have messaged me lately, most of them are nice people, but it has annoyed me how few of them share similar interests and hobbies. Add my MSN or AIM if you want, also. And I hate to be one of THOSE people that have this gimmick, but to show you've read this far, include 'EF31' at the start of your comment. Thanks. As well as English, obviously, I speak a little German and am currently studying Norn and Faroese, the latter two stemming from my fascination with, and strong-felt connection to, the northern isles. Unlike 90% of VF, I am totally straight, and unlike 99% of that lot, I haven't 'turned bi' in the last year or so. So yeah, gay guys, I hold nothing against you, but stop hitting on me. Girls, feel free to continue. :P There's far more to me than what I show on this page. I do give a glimpse of my deepest feelings, my desire for love and how much art and nature mean to me, but unlike some, I feel strange about fully expressing these feelings to just anyone who happens to stumble across my profile. Even many of those I communicate with regularly won't see this side of me. WWE-esque wrestling makes me want to be deaf and blind.]). † Travelling. † Nature. † Hills, mountains, glens. † Animals(unlike humans, they are pure souls). Specifically cats, siberian white tigers and black swans. † Physical beauty. No, I do not judge on it, but I do see it as a most fascinating art form. † The ocean. † Old/abandoned buildings. † Castles. † Cemeteries(and before someone sees this as an opening to slap a label on me, I simply like the design, and the amount of history they have. I also think they're nice places to go for a walk through. Well, not all of them, just the trend-whore ones that have went emo or scene recently because it's become a huge mainstream fad(98% of them, pretty much). If you dress that way and only started doing so after 2002 - don't talk to me. And by the way, when I say emo, I'm talking about the people who wear those ridiculous looking clothes....... I hate it when people with depression are referred to as 'emo'; it's a slap in the face to people suffering a serious mental illness. †This site changing from 'VampireFreaks' to 'EmoTrendwhores'. †The vast majority of Turks on VF. †How the VF 'higher-ups' are all cliquey with those who share their love for ugly 'cyber goth' clothing. †Cult invites, unless they're written to me personally and have some relevance to my profile. †Generic VF music. You know the stuff I mean; that annoying techno-ish stuff people always seem to have on the music player on their profiles. I'd rather hear a Rick Astley's Greatest Hits playlist than that crap. †Those 'misheard lyrics' videos on youtube. They stopped being funny so long ago that a T-Rex was actually quoted as saying "this blows". †Americans/Canadians who, as a result of the sheltered upbringing and education over there, don't realise they have accents, the same as people from any other country. They have no idea how stupid they seem. †Girls kissing girls/Guys kissing guys to get attention from the other sex..... especially the latter, when it's all the more transparent. I wonder if they would have done this before being bi became a huge mainstream trend. Actually that's a lie, I know they wouldn't have. †People stealing my pics. Quite extraordinary, but someone would actually want to lie that they look like me. lol..... perhaps they're trying to scare people off, but either way, apparently it's been happening. Sure, it's only a picture, but I find it quite creepy. †Played out fads. Examples: 'Cunt' was only a somewhat cool word because of how blatantly offensive it was; it loses its sting when it's all over everyones profiles. We know that guns go bang, and dinosaurs don't go 'rawr', they're extinct, and have been for many, many years. I know, or at least hope, that you're aged 14 or under if you find the 'dinosaurs go rawr' thing cool, but surely even then you work to a high enough level of education to know that. -_- †Black and green VF layouts.
