Overhate is a thrash metal band from Venezuela. In 2007 they`ve released their first album "God in a Trench", an album with 14 tracks that resembles a truck going down the hill with no brakes. The band has toured their country constantly and where the opener for Greek metallers Rotting Christ. The album was reviewed in several magazines and podcast, in Venezuela and abroad. Overhate is signed to WOA records, who re-released the band`s first album. They have recorded their second album, "Relentless is our Strength", which is due 2010.

Influences
There are a LOT of influences this band has. The lyrical content is heavily influenced by life experiences, learining, adaptation to changes, and tragedies, all from a point of view that`s heavily sarcastic. Musically speaking, besides saying who their heroes are, the band composes mainly grindind new ideas, while jamming on them in different tempos, and getting different songs moods and vibes. The writing process is quite fluid, it always depends on the sorrounding.
