Since 2000, Nilaihah Records has been at the forefront of Electronic music. Based out of Columbus, Ohio, the small but mighty operation has grown above and beyond what anyone would have anticipated.

Nilaihah Records has climbed to the very top of the Electronic Dance, Industrial, and Synthpop genres, maintaining its reputation as classy while striving to reach its goals:

Nilaihah Records has carved its niche in the music world through its unique style and industry method, driving against the everyday grain to bring the music scene what it wants most: floor pounding hits and mind spinning lyrics. As the label's mission states, Nilaihah Records �strive(s) to release some of the most thought-provoking electronic music out there...[keeping] you moving and [opening] your mind.�

Definition: Nilaihah- "the poetics of the fallen"

Working to provide the many brilliant artists of the world with a voice, Nilaihah Records creates, produces, and markets the most emotional forms of expression for talented, original electronic bands from around the globe in an effort to keep the voices of gifted musicians internationally from going unheard.

�Nothing in the world is accomplished without passion.�

In the beginning...it all started with a dream � Kristy�s simple dream of promoting her band, The Azoic. Through passion, devotion, and hard work, the dream of owning and operating her own record label slowly started to become reality.

"It was almost surreal,� says Kristy. �I never wanted a record label, per say, but was asked by a fairly successful ambient electronic band if I would sign them in 1999. Their label had recently declared bankruptcy. I was dumbfounded, and told them I wasn�t sure what they meant, as I didn�t have a label." In disbelief, the band replied "You should. You do an amazing job at promoting your own band!"

So, with no prior business experience and minimal resources, Nilaihah Records got off the ground in the Spring of 2000. Not even Kristy could imagine what sort of ordeals would lie ahead. Now, Nilaihah is by far the largest label in Columbus, even one of the top in the U.S. within their electronic music genres.

Around the World We Go...

When inquired about the label and the bands, Kristy humbly replies that the bands are from all over the world, from Norway to Italy and San Francisco to NYC. She may also proudly tell you that a few of her bands have already achieved amazing feats. One Nilaihah band was featured on MTV�s MADE opening credits for the entire series. Two others were featured on Microsoft�s Xbox games �Dance, Dance Revolution Ultramix 3� and �Project Gotham Racing 2� and yet another was one of the headlining acts for DragonCon, Atlanta, GA festival with 40,000 large in attendance.
