Hello, I'm Nicole.
In high school I found one thing I was really good at when I was the Performing Arts editor for The Blazer. Writing is something that makes me Nicole, it's always been the one area I've never felt I had a problem with. It's one of the best ways I express myself along with photography, and dancing, preferably ballet. I'm really sweet and shy at first glance, but really I have a lot of quirks and a huge sense of humor. I'm really girlie looking [because I love fashion and makeup to no extent] and am very small, but I love to play with the guys and hurt people's egos in video games or tackle someone if I feel the need. Music is another obsession, I play the saxophone and two types of clarinet. Anything I art related, I do or love. My major is photojournalism but it was really hard to choose because I had to decide between writing and taking photos for a living. One day I would love to work for a magazine or newspaper and maybe I can do both to earn my way through life.
Random facts: I love Jesus and music keep me sane. My anxiety is terrible and it's something I have to live with, but it doesn't mean anything is "wrong" with me or that I'm "broken." I have been in love before but it just about ruined me when it ended recently, so now I'm just trying to find myself all over again and in the process be a happier girl. I sing way too loudly in the car and break into random dance fits because it makes me feel like I'm five years old. People think I look like I'm 16, even though I'm 21 and I still get carded at the movies and have been asked by a cop if I was old enough to drive. I'm only 5'0' and weigh 90 lbs so I guess it's easy to make that mistake. I love Chinese food, coffee, and anything chocolate. I would rather be outside than in a building all day and long walks are the best. I will keep you on the phone for hours at a time. Driving at night is much better than during the day. I can snowboard, poorly. I also enjoy playing tag at 2 am in the dark. I tend to be one of the most loyal people you will ever meet; I will always back you up. People either think I'm the sweetest girl they've ever met but there are a couple people I've met in my life that pushed me too far who know I will put up a massive fight for the things I believe in and the people I love. Smoking or drinking means that we'll have a hard time being friends because I'm allergic to cigarettes and putting any unnatural substance in your body is just something I feel really strongly against. I have enough anxiety issues, I don't need to worry about any other altered states of mind.
One day I will make it out of this small town.

Playing tag at 2 a.m., music, editing photos, writing, iced coffee, light saber fights with sticks, my roommate from Osaka, aesthetically pleasing magazine layouts, makeup, the travel channel, movies that make you think, handing people their ass in Soul Calibur, long conversations, baking cupcakes, laying in the grass, the ocean, penguins, and anyone who can use their creativity to make me see things in a new light.
