New Entry
Profile: What can you do in Three Minutes? I'm not gonna lie to you, you can do alot of things, but it takes something fucking amazing to make a band in three minutes. We did. One rainy Sunday at the skatepark, Johnny randomly said "Christ, I need a band!" Curiously, Danny asked him what he played and how good he was, then told Johnny that he was a punk/rock guitarist and vocalist looking for a side project from his other band Pretty Pirates (now no longer a band). Johnny agreed and they set out in order to find a bassist...someone hot...someone talented... someone with an ass to die for...someone like that doesn't come around everyday, right? WRONG! He was sat right next to Johnny by the name of Scott Mansey. So now they had members...what's next? A name! And guess what? We picked the THIRD name we thought of...Can't remember the first two but New Entry just seemed to fit. And what does every new band start out with? A cover song...yes indeed. We needed something simple...something punk...then that something hit us all at the same time! Probably because it just came onto Scotts mp3 player through Johnny's speakers...the 'spazz vocals' of The Ramone's 'Beat on the Brat'. It was fate! After things got a bit complicated, Scott left to focus on his original band Stoopid Parade and Danny left because hes just a twat. This left Jonney on his own determind not to give up on New Entry he started the hunt for new members first he talked to Will Sidebottom a local bassist even though he knew getting Will into New Entry was like shooting yourself in the head he took the risk, Wills first idea was to add trance to our music so we had a word with our friend Flip who used to DJ he said he would try so it looked like New Entry was on the road back up but they needed a guitarist. This is were Jake Fenton enters the story Jake having played guitar for five years was a excellent person to ask to join being so much better and dedicated than the last guitarist. So Jake joined, New Entry was now back up and ready to rock but there was still a bomb of failure waiting to go off (William) so having discussed it and with the help of former bassist Scott they threw Will out the band. So now New Entry were bassistless again! we only knew two bassists Scott and Will until a few minutes later when Jordan Hamer a good friend of Jonney told us that he was converting from guitarist to bassist because its easyer to play (that reallys sums Jordan up) so now New Entry was complete Get ready for the new, New Entry era!
